I intend to live forever. So far, so good :-)
Introduction

I am Robert Angle, tech savvy internet junkie. I graduated from high school in 1994, and then completely wasted the next 5 years of my life, and then met my lovely wife Crystal Angle and got married at the turn of the millenium and now have 2 beautiful children together (I actually have an older daughter whom I lost to a forced adoption but hope to meet one day).

Yes, I am known as Dismal_Bliss and Tileworks on the world wide web.

MY CIRCLING POLICY:

Friends & Family: There are days when I get circled several dozen times per hour, so if I know you personally, there is a good chance I might miss the notification that you circled me. Please say hello by commenting on one of my posts or by sending me a private message using the message icon above my profile. Also, if you cannot see my several dozen photo albums, tell me that I forgot to give you permissions to view them.

Other Google Plusketeers: If you circle me and desire social interaction, then please introduce yourself or I may not circle you back. I don't automatically circle people back as a courtesy. You will need a profile picture for sure, and hopefully some interesting content and substance. If you are a post-a-holic, or just spend all day resharing stuff from the “What's Hot” stream, I'll probably drop you or put you into a muted circle. I am here for the small talk, not the spam.

Sleezeballs & Creepers: If you post spam, pornography, make it your practice to be rude and inconsiderate, troll, try to bully and manipulate others, express racism, or excessively use foul language and vulgar speech, I will without hesitation uncircle you, block you, and even report your profile for content violations or harassment. If we disagree, let it always be in a peaceful manner.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME:

I am married to my best friend, and we have 2 children whom I believe deserve to grow up in the security of a two-parent household. Respect that.

I am also committed to my God and my faith. Respect that. I am a devout Christian and one of Jehovah's Witnesses. We might be known around the world for how we like to talk about religion and the Bible, but I do not believe in preaching or debating religion over the internet. If you have a question about my faith or what the Bible has to say on a matter, ask me in private. Now everyone posts something that reflects their views from time to time, whether they are of another faith, or atheist, or whatever, and from time to time you might see me do the same. I'll respect you, and I expect that kindness to be reciprocated. I keep most faith based discussions on Google plus in private circles and out of the public view.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME

I blog at www.RobertAngle.com from time to time, and my public G+ posts also get imported over there, along with any comments you make.

My Favorite Music: Such a broad range that it is too much to list. Mike Patton is the god of modern music (gasp! blasphemy! right?), and so almost everything by Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Fantomas, Peeping Tom, Mondo Cane, and more Mike Patton stuff is just totally awesome. Currently, my celebrity girlfriend is the amazing Kimbra. I also like The Cure, Tori Amos, La Roux, Bjork, and classical music too. Popular music is okay, until it has been played to death. Probably shouldn't mention some of these. Sadly, you have to listen to an album and weed out the bad songs on just about anything these days.

My Favorite TV & Movies: All things Star Wars and Doctor Who. All things based on comic books too, such as Superman, Spiderman, Xmen, Avengers, yadda yadda yadda. I barely have time for movies anymore, and when I do, it's kids stuff (a consequence of having young children). For the record, Doctor Who has been the best TV show in the universe since I started watching it when I was 8 years old.

Bragging rights
I am strong to the finish, cuz I eats my spinach!
Work
Occupation
I support my family and I as a professional tile setter and marble & stone artisan. I learned to be a ceramic tile, porcelain, marble, and stone setter as an apprentice under a good friend for four years until I founded my own company in 2005. I continue to specialize in tile and stone, but have expanded into larger areas of remodeling since.

Fun for kids, especially those in the single digit age range. KidStation is often referred to by them as "Red Park" because of the color of the equipment.

Continental Cuisine is a fantastic place to eat. Their "Shawarma's" in particular are just amazing. It's unusual ethnic food, but the best you can get in the area. The flavors are so fantastic it is like a party in your mouth. Eat here, and you will be glad you did!

We went to Uncle Buck's for breakfast, amused by the name of the place. It is a small mom and pop diner in downtown Luray. As far as breakfasts go, we were well pleased. The service was fantastic, as they truly love their customers. They had something on the menu I never heard of before called Scrapple, but I'm from much further north where people don't even know what grits are. It was neat to try new things.

I was much happier with the Days Inn Shenandoah than I was with the Luray Caverns Motel East the night before. The room I had was modern and comfortable except for the old box television (but who cares?). The pool was nice, the continental breakfast was typical, and it was close enough to all the places I intended to visit. My one complaint would be that while their wireless network was up and functioning, the connection to the internet was down, but that was out of their control. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

You get a pretty decent bang for your buck getting pizza here. Hot and ready pepperoni or cheese pizza is only $5.55 - unfortunately, they stopped making hot and ready Supremes. This means that if you want a halfway decent pizza, you're going to have to wait in the lobby for 10 minutes. If you don't care what goes in your mouth, or your having a party and need a lot of pizzas, then this place is where its at. But if your food critic, or the type that likes to savor the flavor, keep in mind this is just a step above the frozen pizzas at the grocery store.

This place was fantastic. I did read Google reviews before heading out this particular evening and have to agree that the food here is great. It's a unique 2 story restaurant on a corner in downtown. Definitely eat upstairs, as 1/2 the downstairs is also the kitchen and there is a lot of traffic. Our food was fantastic and the portions were generous we thought. We all had sandwhiches and the prices were fair. The dinners looked pricey, but it would be unfair to judge without having ordered one. I am confident though that if I did, the quality and taste would have been top notch. This is my 2nd time to Luray Caverns, and should I come here again, eating at Artisan's will be one of the places we dine at for sure.

I hate to give bad reviews, but this hotel inspired me to do just that. We reserved our room at Luray Caverns Motel East, figuring that since it was associated with the Luray Caverns tourist attraction, that it would be a particularly nice place. WRONG! We arrived at about 10:30pm at night and checked in. The first room they gave us, we opened the door and the beds were not made, and half of the blankets and sheets were piled on a chair and on the floor. So we went back to the desk and told them about it and they gave us keys to the room next door. It was made, but smelled like moldy basement. It has never been updated, and looked like we stepped back in time *several* decades, and the pool was closed. My wife and daughter had trouble breathing in there but we made it through the night, checked out and went down the street to the Days Inn Shenandoah. It was another $25 ($95 vs $70 after Days Inn offered AAA discount), but well worth the extra money.
