"Any jack$! can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one." - Sam Rayburn

Whenever I think of architecture photography I think of modern buildings. Unfortunately, rarely do I give credit to some of the beautiful barns I see in the country side. This is a historic barn in Emerson, Iowa that is just beautiful in its own way. It has beautiful lines and careful construction and deserves more attention than it receives. But this is common in modern life, we far too often pay too little attention to the hardworking and common "structures" that anchor our lives.

+tania sonnenfeld It was certainly a beautiful barn and this farm was a great place to photograph. Lots of rural beauty there.
