Anybody have any thoughts on a Windows email client which can handle huge volumes of mail on a daily basis, but automatically delete is as it gets older?

We have 3 execs who dont like to use our bespoke app which runs against an enterprise class database, so they get us to forward the mail to specially set up email accounts which they use. One of them uses mac mail which can cope with as much as a million messages brilliantly but he is moving back to a PC. The other two use Thunderbird and dont love it. I set it up because it has an auto delete function and purges the messages after a set period but neither of them love it and for one it keeps "forgetting" all of his accounts, so we have to re-add them.
I dont like to use Outlook because they use it for their primary business email accounts and the huge volume just swamps it and if it ever crashes thy can be waiting hours for it to check their PST/OST files etc...
Cheers in advance!

Server side rule? Or are the clients keeping cached or full DL from server?

G+ Is littered with posts like this which generally annoy me, but I find myself with 3 One + One Invites (taken - sorry!)  and 10 Google Inbox invites to share if anybody is interested...

The OpO invites expire in 2 days which is what prodded me into action. It's well reviewed and I'm sure if you are in this community you know enough about it already. Can't argue with the price!

Inbox - you will like it or hate it, I think I like it, but I'm not totally sold yet!

I will rather selfishly goto sleep shortly, but if you do want I will forward the invites in the morning :)

As an owner / user of both I don't expect people to be too excited by these, but in case you are, please be nice and only ask for one if you will actually use it - it would be a shame if you ask "just in case" and let the invites expire but someone who really wants one is left out...

Apologies again for spammy post!

Credit where credit is due, I stole this idea from the "picks" section in Tom Merrits DTNS show - but I feel I have improved somewhat on the price.

I found myself with quite worrying wrist pain which was undoubtedly not helped by using a PC mouse. I know people say that trackballs help - but I just dont like them - I find them innacurate and slow! I can't remember if I heard the pick, or found it later as I was browsing, but I saw the Evoluent Mouse http://evoluent.com/ on the DTNS website. A wonderful idea for a normal mouse, turned on its side thus taking the pressure away from your wrist.... But... It's really expensive!

I love Anker and they have come up trumps again here http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BIFNTMC If i was being critical, it is really lightweight and certainly doesnt feel premium... But it's really cheap and after a week using it my wrist felt fine. I know plenty of people who have pushed for work to buy them expensive track balls because of RSI - I spent my own money so I can live with the cheap and cheerful Anker one :)

Anybody used crushftp?

It looks amazing - arguably a bit too amazing for the really low price.

I want to give users an easy tool to upload and share files with simple links, but ones which expire after a certain time. Right now we just give them access to a shared folder under htdocs and they give out the url but there is no control and it just seems a bit messy.

Crushftp looks to me like Dropbox but with decent access controls and a one off fee... I'm interested in other opinons though...

Cheers!
Enterprise Grade File Transfer for Everyone. CrushFTP is an extremely powerful, easy to use solution that runs on almost everything: OS X 10.5 - 10.9+, WinXP - Win2012+, Linux, Solaris, BSD, Unix, etc! Read the CrushFTP White Paper Here (PDF) ...

Not sure if this is all of London, or just my area but all of the bus info boards have been down since yesterday... How can they not have monitoring and support at the weekend?

Haha - I wasn't even getting a bus - the tube station is just beyond it. Was just amazed that what I had noticed the previous day in a nearby town hadn't been resolved in time for the Monday rush hour!

I've always loved this place - Turkish Bar, Restaurant and deli / bakery. Food is amazing, service is great. Now I have a Turkish Fiance so I am a bit biased... but the most important thing.. On a Friday night, this is the only place on Isabella Street where there isn't a toilet troll! Think the beer is cheapest too, but actually being able to wash my own hands is fantastic!
