+Logan Laughlin it's all good, just ecstatic to be featured on lifehacker!  Folks who are stuck in ninite and fail to see better tools are not really folks that would use chocolatey in the first place. Best I can do is layout the features and differences and let them make an informed decision.

Pro-tip for everyone using Google+.

Like everyone else, I organized my contacts in circles. In particular, I like to follow funny posters so I put those in "Following". Then I have some friends that are great friends, but are not great Google+ sharers. Then there are acquaintances that I like, but their stream is not something I am interested in. And then there is my "douchebags" circle, where I add people that look like a douche bag (nothing related to their personality, I must add).

Sadly, Google+ defaults to showing posts from anyone you have ever circled, which made Google+ kind of useless. Reading posts from people that are shaped like a douche bag was not very motivating.

Today I discovered that you can go to one of your streams, like "Acquaintances" and drag the ruler to the left to indicate "do not show any posts from people in this group in my stream":

This one:

And problem solved!

Introduction
Just a developer that is active in the community. In my spare time (ha!) I spend time working on the ChuckNorris Framework and other OSS projects. I'm also the creator/maintainer of chocolatey (http://github.com/ferventcoder/chocolatey/wiki), which is kind of like apt-get, but for Windows.
