Truth!
We Vancouverites are a vain, self-absorbed bunch. What do you expect from the world’s most livable city? That title, ‘Best Place on Earth,’ really has gone straight to our heads.

April and May Training Goals: To Simply Enjoy Running
Over the last couple of weeks, I admit that I have not come up with a new training plan or set of training goals.  At first, this was somewhat due to me not committing to a single course of action or even being somewhat lazy.  However, it has now become the...

Bicycle Commuting Setup
Throughout my life, my bicycle has been an integral part of how I get around. For most of my childhood, I got to and from school by bike. I used my bike to get around in the small-ish town I grew up in. When I moved to Richmond, I used my bike to get to and...

A little bit about my new ride, Norco Threshold A3.
For Christmas this year, my wife got me a new bike. And not just any bike; she got me the bike I had been eyeing up and reading about for a while: a Norco Threshold A3. One of the biggest decisions for me was whether to go wi...

I've started commuting without a car: using a combination of bike and public transit.
As I mentioned earlier in the week (see this post), at the beginning of June I began a new job downtown. In order to avoid driving downtown Vancouver and paying ridiculous amounts for parking, I initially began with driving t...

I'm confused with this whole #Google  Docs, Drive, Quickoffice thing on my #Android  lately ( #nexus4 ). Shouldn't it be Drive for file management (cloud and local), Docs app for word processing, and Sheets app for spreadsheets? If so, why do I need Quickoffice? And Drive used to have apps to work those files already; why are they now cut out into separate apps? Seems like a lot of icons that all take me to the same place anyway - to edit a document.

I enjoy running, cycling, craft beer, BC wine, Android, music, the Canucks, the Whitecaps, and exploring this beautiful province with my family. I'm a borderline tech geek and keep up to date on all of the above on my Android Nexus 4.
