A few photos from my hike y'day on the Lookout Creek Old-Growth Trail, H.J. Andrews Forest, Oregon. The time to visit is when there are clouds and rain, nut, when it's sunny. This is when the old-growth forest comes alive. :-)

I'm beat. Hiked the Lookout Creek trail today. A few phone photos from the Lookout Creek trail. Lots of wildflowers are appearing. The snowline has retreated high enough that most of the roads and trails are open.

The Townsend's chipmunks have begun eating the Mtn Hemlock cones. Often, they will eat them in the tree or on the go but they will also find little rocks to sit on and enjoy the view with their meal.
