Musicians love old stuff, but technology is amazing and my heavy gear is going to receive lighter use from now on (probably).
No more books, iPad instead. My amp is smaller than a 12 inch cube and weighs about 5 pounds. My pedal board is about the size of an average paperback book and it all fits into a space-age super-durable (and light weight) gig bag.
...perhaps I'll only wait 24 years to get my next rig.
