Very cool, might have to try this out on my next project.

AngularDart is a framework for building web-apps in Dart. Declarative templates with data-binding, MVW, MVVM, MVC, dependency injection and great testability story!

Today's #AndroidDev #Protip by +Roman Nurik is about display resolution and density emulation in Android 4.3.

Back in January, +Adam Powell posted [1] a great tip about using "adb shell am display-size" and display-density to:

"…tell an attached device to emulate a display resolution or density other than the native display properties of the device. You can tell either property to reset by telling it "reset" as the resolution or density argument.

What this means is that with one high resolution, high density device like the Nexus 10, you can simulate the environment of just about any other Android device you'll care about for basic UI testing. The resource system will give you the appropriate resources for the adjusted Configuration and you can check each different device class you want to support in minutes."

With Android 4.3, these commands have been moved to the "wm" command, which can emulate size, density, and overscan. For example, here's how to emulate a Nexus 7 using the Nexus 10:

$ adb shell wm size
Physical size: 2560x1600
$ adb shell wm size 1920x1200 # emulate a Nexus 7
$ adb shell wm size
Physical size: 2560x1600
Override size: 1920x1200
$ adb shell wm size reset

That's all for today's tip. If you've got similar tips or questions, post them in the comments!

I agree with the other commenters about the decor, but I don't really care about that sort of thing. I've been here a few times. I've gone for unlimited boneless and unlimited bone-in wings. The bone-in wings here are substantially better than the boneless. I generally prefer boneless wings but the bone-in wings here are amazing. They have a huge selection of sauces (something like 24), which is nice, but there are 2 or 3 of them that I could not stomach. The staff was friendly and fun, and we caught one of them taking a picture of the mountain of bones that myself and 3 other guys created at the table.
