I got my Mario Chromebook to beta test 4 years ago and it's still going strong with the latest beta version of ChromeOS. It has proven to be, overall, a solid and dependable little notebook which I still enjoy using.

But deciding whether switching to Linux isn't so easy, because Linux isn't perfect and sadly not for everyone -- although we'd like…

If your iPhone or iPad seems like it's taking an eternity to charge, it may not be a problem with the device or the charging cable. Rather, as CNET's Dan Graziano explains, it may be a simple buildup of dust or debris in the device's lightning po...

Are you a Windows XP user needing to upgrade your operating system? Do you dislike the idea of Windows 8, or are you hesitant to spend any money? For many people, installing a Linux operating system onto their computer is a sufficient and free way to keep your computer running and still get security updates. …

found this a little while ago...
Asperger syndrome is characterized by symptoms of certain repetitive behaviors, clumsiness and difficulty socializing as part of an autism spectrum disorder. Though many diagnosed with the behavioral health issue can lead relatively normal lives, a recent study published in the journal Lancet Psychiatry shows that they may be at a greater risk for suicide and symptoms related to depression.

Story
Tagline
a proud aspie southern liberal
Introduction
I'm the oldest, smartest, best-looking and most humble of my siblings... I'm especially proud of my humility.

I am a native South Carolinian, born in the midlands and raised in the Pee Dee. My family settled in South Carolina before the American Revolution. I was educated at Francis Marion College (now University), Furman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, NC). I describe myself as a liberal, as defined below.

liberal: 1. not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry. 2. favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.

My interests include anything dealing with technology, web & graphic design, autism,  civil/human/gender/disability rights, herbal medicine, words and clever phrasing, puzzles, acoustic music (especially guitar) and the quiet solitude of a mountain stream or uncrowded ocean shore.
Bragging rights
