I recall reading Japanese researchers determined kea are the most intelligent of all birds.
I have many stories about them, but now it seems they are "car surfing": getting on parked cars and riding them as they leave. And some of the young ones get killed doing it.

P.S. we killed 150,000 of them. Is it any wonder they attack our stuff?

I'm an independent IT management consultant and commentator based in Wellington, New Zealand. I'm an internationally-recognised thought leader in IT Service Management (ITSM). I'm a published author of several books and many articles, best known for my controversial blog and alter-ego, the IT Skeptic (blog, Google+). 

Awarded itSMF New Zealand's inaugural ITSM Champion for 2011. 
Best speaker  itSMF New Zealand national conference 2011. 
Credited in the acknowledgments as a contributor to the 2011 edition of the ITIL core book Service Strategy.
