The Norwegian coast

Senja is Norway's second largest island, with mountain peaks, beaches, fishing villages, scenic inland areas, some of the world’s best fishing grounds and a large population of the white-tailed eagle.
The Norwegian coast is really unique, with thousands of islands, fjords cutting into the land, mountain peaks and tiny settlements. The best way to see the coast is definitely from the sea.
The Norwegian Hurtigruten ship company offers daily departures all year between the coastal town of Bergen at the western coast and the Arctic town of Kirkenes at the north eastern coast, close to the Russian border.
