in Rosario, Argentina
On March 19 I did a Midtown Manhattan tour with Gary (or Garret?) and enjoyed the THREE hours it took, learning and listening to the most interesting stories about buildings, architects, American presidents --the Chrisler Tower, The Grand Central Station, Bryant Square all around, Times Square, New York Public Library and much more!!!-- precious information combined with the humor of a very savvy tour guide, most knowledgeable and friendly. As Gary stated from the start, visitors to NYC should spend some time NOT only looking up at the skyscrapers and taking photos, but by also --and mainly!-- learning about the American culture and the people that helped create the city as it is now, a complex compilation and combination of art and work not always visible at first sight, but which needs to be discovered with the valuable help and directions of a tour guide like Gary, one of the best guides I've ever met.
