It was great I really enjoyed it and they add new things in Ripley's because I been here before to other times. My mom and I enjoyed it. Go and experience it's really fun and it interactive too. Have fun.

My sister in law wanted to check this out on a recent visit to NYC so I gave in, knowing full well it might be super touristy and lame. And yup, wasn't wrong! Kids might enjoy it, idk. But most of the installations were pretty boring.

Staff were really helpful in getting us a good deal! Really good fun! Does not take too long to get round. Recommend for families and couples.

It was okay. The price was a little steep even with a discount. The exhibit was longer than I expected so that was nice. Some rooms did seem like they could get a little boring for younger kids.

People who are giving this a bad rating....shame on you. They went here expecting something that this attraction doesn't claim to be. This place is awesome! It's about seeing, reading, and learning about amazing things. It's not an amusement park. It's not a place for your children to play with blocks or toys. It's a museum. And yes, it is for children - children whose parents want them to experience and learn, who want to take the time to teach their children and explain things other than how a video game works. 1. Anyone who "flew through" in 20 minutes, obviously wasn't here to see/learn about amazing Ripley's things. You could spend 20 minutes in the lobby with BumbleBee, Captain America, the world's tallest man, the gorilla built from tires. 2. Small children may not be too interested, as there is not a lot of "hands on"....but I brought a 9, 7, 4, and 3 year old here. We showed them things, read things to them, asked them silly questions about things, took pictures - it was great! They all enjoyed it, all learned new things. 3. The staff is top notch - very friendly and they leave you alone - you could spend one hour or all day in here - no pressure to keep it moving. 4. Pay attention for the things you can do - pose in the illusion with no legs, stick your head in with the bugs, play music on the musical stairs, do all the optical illusions, stick your head in the mirror box, take a picture falling off the Empire State building, get a fortune from Zandar, put your head in the jars in the medieval room, dance infront of the red screen, listen to the story the mini hologram tells you, etc. 5. The Blackhole is crazy and amazing - the kids must have done it 20 times each trying to master walking through without holding on. 6. They also have a laser room where you test out your spy skills trying to make it through without triggering any lasers - no extra charge, self serve, do it as much as you like. 7. The bathrooms are in the middle of the museum - and even they are amazing. My sons couldn't get enough of the button in the mens room that made a loud farting sound :-)

Ripley's is pretty fun, and the entire museum took my group of 4 two hours to get through. There's a lot to see, much to do, and many things you can learn that will make it worth the admission fee. Then again, I had a 50% discount per ticket in addition to the student discounts (the cashier at the time was pretty cool, so I don't think that kind of deal will be available all the time). I don't know if I'd have as good a time if I put forth the original admission fee, as it's pretty ridiculous.

It was cool at parts. Some displays were messed up or missing, but that was minor. All in all it was a nice break from the bustling city as it wasn't busy, but alot of it wasn't 'Believe it or Not' but just artifacts.
