One of the Main Reasons Why we Don't Use Poisons

This is a picture of squirrel droppings in the attic of a house in Acworth, Georgia. You'll notice that one of the droppings is green. That's because a previous exterminator mistakenly identified the problem as a rat problem and set out a green-colored rodenticide to kill them. The squirrels ate the rodenticide and died.

Aside from being illegal, this caused quite an odor problem for the customer. That's how we got the call: It came in as a dead animal removal job. But even if it had been rats, the stink would still have been unbearable. That's one of the many reason why we never use poisons to control rodents in homes.
