one thing i should add, no successful w. kubuntu 16.04, as there are wifi probs (mostly dsyfunctional), encrypting drives is broken, and after log-on, external monitor disappears. community has been recomending 14.04 as alternative due to numerous probs.

Good Morning Folks.

I am feeling pretty smug this morning. Sitting on a train to London in First Class, writing emails, G+ posts, and markup for the +Kubuntu Packaging Guides.

I am using my BQ M10 +Ubuntu tablet, in desktop mode with BT Keyboard, and Mouse. I have it connected to an Ubuntu Wifi hotspot which is being provided by my BQ E4.5 #ubuntuphone, using its 3G cellular data connection.

It is WAY COOL

Take a look at how many stars there are

this silent place

It's been an ambition of mine this year to capture the Milky Way, ideally from Dartmoor. I finally realised this aim this evening, with this shot taken from Shilstone Tor. The beauty of the sky from a dark spot such as this is indescribable, and I truly wasn't prepared for how distracting it would be from the task from the task in hand! The sky is just covered in dots, each of differing brightness. I saw meteors, more clearly than any I've ever seen, and galaxies too. The Milky Way itself was clearly visible with the naked eye. There were fireworks on the horizon but it was still knowingly quiet on the moor with just an occasional breeze. Very cold.

Here it is, the TRUTH revealed at last.

For 8 years I spoke about the EU and it's treaties, about how our ability to control our country through our ministers and parliament had been userped

Now the BBC reports the same, as Theresa May promises to introduce a Repeal Bill to remove the 1972 European Communities act.

Prime Minister Theresa May says she will introduce a "Great Repeal Bill" in the next Queen's Speech that will overturn the act that took the UK into the EU.

Well, my party is planning to remove from the Italian Constitution the balanced budget introduced under EU's pressures.

I can't tell you how happy I am with Ed and Sarah and City Vets in general. Jake my Lurcher fell ill late one Sunday evening, and I called City Vets and spoke with Sarah. She arranged for me to take Jake to the Heavy Tree surgery where she would see him. He was in a really bad way, and to be honest I thought that would be the end ! Well that was last October 2015, and Jake is still with us, and is in better shape than I have seen him in quite some time. Jake required massive surgery for a large Prostate Cyst, Treatment for a Heart infection, and then a second surgical procedure to fix up his teeth. Ed took care of the surgery, and with Sarah's quick thinking and immediate crisis care Jake survived. At the last check up with Ed, he was pleased to tell me that no longer could he hear any signs of murmur from Jakes heart and that he had responded extremely well to the treatment. Throughout this whole journey the whole team at City Vets have been nothing short of incredible. Professionals, with a very high level of skills and capability. Beyond that they understand people, and the emotional bond that people have with their pets. Thanks City Vets, you are Awesome !! #GoodStuff

I was greeted by Aish when I walked in, customer service was warm and friendly. I had bacon sandwich, which was delicious and mug of tea. Whilst there I chatted with a few of the staff, and they made me feel really welcome. Great place, highly recommended.

Lovely and quiet, no signs or restrictions, beautiful sandy beaches, public toilets wwhich are clean, there and well cared for. Very remote no other facilities, great for a few days of complete peace. Its right next to military ranges a little noisy at firing times.

Paxtons Tower overlooks the valleys below, and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. I visited on a wet and windy day, which spoilt the views somewhat. Access to the tower is open, and you can ascend to the second floor to enjoy the panoramic views. It's off the beaten track, but the area is lovely and the National Trust are doing a good job of keeping it tidy and well looked after. Car Park on left just before cottage.

Arrived early, were greeted very warmly, by Ronan, and the business owner. Their service was excellent. 2 Kids, and 2 Adults all day play was brilliant value. The place is enormous, with so many play frames, and soft play areas. BIg Cafe, with big screens for adults. Asked the kids what they thought, reply " AWESOME! " Even better than Bear Feet.
