Flat feet and pronation are one and the same. If you have flat feet, your feet are in a position of pronation. Think of flat feet as feet that are flexed prior to absorbing shock. Are flat feet bad? Answer: No Flat feet with no arch is relative. If you have flat feet and pain, that often leads to orthotics. Or, flat feet and Birkenstocks. More often than not, when you go to an expert with flat feet, since they sell orthotics, they aren't objective.
