I would have been extremely disappointed and probably turned off completely to the technology if I had to deal with the screen scramble at the same time I was dealing with learning how to coil with nickel. I did almost give up on nickel all together until I read others having success with tempered nickel. I finally ordered some 28ga tempered nickel to give it a try and I haven't looked back. In fact I just received some 29 and 30ga tempered nickel so I could make smaller spaced coils for my tanks. Currently I've got a spaced 30ga .14ohm coil in my Squape R working great at 450.

All of my tempered coils have worked great so far. So I'm asking myself, I'm I having just a lucky streak right now (which I'll take), or is using tempered nickel a far better choice over annealed? I do know it's much easier to work with, so even for that I think it's worth it. I wonder if others are finding success with tempered nickel, or are running in to the same problems?

I'm just now noticing with the new Google Search app/Google Now, that I no longer have an option to select which cards I want displayed. I've messed around with the settings a bit, but tonight I wanted to see why my "Shipment" card wasn't displaying. I finally broke down and order the Nexus 5 and I received a shipping email today with a tracking number; and I've always received the shipping card.

I first thought since my shipment email was in my 'update tab' instead of 'primary tab' , that maybe Google doesn't monitor this tab and that's why I didn't get it. I then moved it to my 'primary tab' (in the GMail app) hoping that would fix it. It didn't...and after thinking about Google not monitoring all my tabs, it just didn't make any since.

That's when I dug into my Google Now settings and realized the section that used to allow you to select which cards you wanted and which ones you didn't was no longer there. The settings are a lot different now. I used to have a section that let me decide if I wanted the "shipment card" and now I don't.

So long story short - Does the 'shipment card' still exist? And do you're shipping emails need to be in the 'primary tab' in order for Google to display a shipping card?

But on the plus side, I'm getting more cards more often. Just seem to be missing this one.

+Joseph Cappellino Having all the cards enabled by default actually makes more since. I didn't think of that as I was digging through the settings menu looking for the card. So probably a good guess.

This happens often enough that I'm curious if others have the same issue with some app updates from the Play Store. I updated Google+ yesterday, and this evening Google+ was in my update list again. Nothing unusual, but when I select update, I'm greeted with 'Open' or 'Uninstall', no selection for 'Update'. I've had it happen with several different apps and not just Google+. If I back out, then re-select update, (sometimes it takes more than once), then the 'Update' option will be there. Does the app really need to be updated? Or is it applying the same update again because it's not recognizing it's already been updated? That doesn't make much since to me, but neither does not having an 'Update' option for an update. Maybe a bug or just a quirk with Google Play?

I've seen it too. When I do I go and check my current version # with the one for the update. If it is the same I just ignore it and eventually it sorts itself out and if it is different, I know its a new update.

We're at the vets again. Skippy's allergies are really acting up. We're going to try an antihistamine to see if we can get him through the fall season. Poor little guys been sneezing and coughing and his little eyes are so runny. Hopefully this will give him some relief.

Banfield Pet Hospital has been great though. I'm glad I found them.

I'm surprised Google was going to send me to a Taco Time much further away. Really Google?

I got tired of waiting for the OTA (Kit Kat) for my Nexus 7 2013, so I broke down and decided to sideload last Sunday, just 2 days ago. I'm just getting ready to turn in for the night and I'm greeted with this update. I've heard nothing about an incremental update for the Nexus 7 beyond the 4.4 that's supposed to be rolling out right now. This one is small, just under 4mb. But it certainly caught me off guard.

Anyone else get this small update yet after already receiving 4.4?

This is more than likely the 4.4 r2 update I received it earlier today.

It's about damn time to! Twice this summer I've stopped by the store to pick up some of Skippy's favorite treats to find out they've been recalled. Scary stuff.

I think I spend more on Skippy's food than I do my own!
