Recently, I started reading my blog from the beginning. I was surprised that I'd forgotten certain details or emotions of some recorded moments. This is the beauty of journaling  or blogging: capturing moments for history.

As I celebrate my 18th wedding anniversary, my friend mourns another year without his wife. It slips my mind that today carries with it a bitter-sweet meaning: cherishing that she's with Jesus while missing her terribly. Praying for you, Eric. You're never alone in this journey!

My Icy Valentine
Valentine's Day 2015 was a bit different than most. It was the first Valentine's Day that I recall being apart from my Valentine, Kim. Georgia has had a stomach bug for a few days, so she wasn't feeling up to a daddy-daughter date. And to cap it off, Georgi...

Reflecting on the Past
It's always healthy to do some personal maintenance. To look back over the course of your life, vocation, or other aspects and consider if you're on the best path. Recently, I started reading my blog from the beginning. I was surprised that I'd forgotten ce...

Scripture refers to how the last shall be first. I love how God likes to turn on its head what we think is right or the way things should be. Jesus, from His foretold arrival, birth, ministry, and to His death was the personification of this. It doesn't surprise me when I read reports about how ...

Story
Tagline
Most days are filled with slaying the interwebs, code slinging, helping developers across the "project highway," and ridiculous amounts of frivolity.
Introduction
Rick has been involved with media since he was in 9th grade. Then, he began working in radio and learning everything there was to know about radio broadcasting. He worked on-air, in production, went on sales calls, and even got his hands dirty with engineering.

After 10 years in radio, Rick went into TV for 10 years working in Production, Marketing, and Online. Receiving a Southeast Regional Emmy for his work on "Unexplained: Haunts" is a cherished highlight.

Since 2008, Rick's focus has been in program management at AOL. His work with AOL Tech's channels of Engadget, TUAW, Joystiq, Massively, and WoW Insider provides new projects daily and the occasional opportunity to flex is code monkey skills.

When it comes to home remodeling, knowing who to choose can be difficult. After all, there's a lot of choices. Choosing David to repair the exterior of my home (weathered rake board and several aged portions of front and rear of home) was a wonderful investment. With David you'll always receive clear communication, honesty, integrity, and professional work. Not only was I satisfied with the work when it was completed but I knew it would last for a long while. When it's time to replace my windows and switch out my wooden deck for pavers, I'll be calling Bolder Remodeling, again.
