Introduction
THE 'PROFESSIONAL' ME
I spent most of my teens and early twenties trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my professional life. Thinking "being a website designer would be cool" I started building sites for myself and small businesses who showed an interest.

Disheartened by the fact none of these sites attracted any meaningful traffic, I endeavored to find the answer...

Quite by accident I fell into the world of SEO and haven't looked back. Since then my curiousity has led me into conversion optimisation, social media marketing and of course Google Plus!

I have recently authored the series:

THE 'PERSONAL' ME
I love travelling & seeing new places, I love doing things outside the limits of day-to-day life, I love seeing my friends, going to gigs and snowboarding. Then at the end of a long day, I love to collapse in bed with DVDs!

I play guitar (questionably), drink Red Bull (continuously), listen to Blink 182 & Anberlin (loud) currently have an obsession with Pinterest (who doesn't).

I also read. A lot. Mostly business and psychology-related books, autobiographies of comedians/musicians and novels.

Bragging rights
I Was about 3ft from dying several years ago when I snowboarded off a cliff ...luckily I landed on a small patch of deep snow as opposed to the surrounding rocks! I have met the lead singers from my 3 favourite bands...only one was a let-down. I have written on the real Facebook Wall & ridden a Google bike.

We've just come back from our Honeymoon - a safari in Kenya followed by some down time in the beautiful Seychelles. This was all masterminded by Laura and Hayley on the team who between them, designed a ridiculously perfect honeymoon for us filled with lots of little surprises and just the right balance of experiences/adventures and free time to soak it all in. They gave us a selection of accommodation options at a range of budgets to choose from and suggested numerous activities based on our tastes to help us fill our time with memories. We were looked after from start to finish with all of the little things taken care of by their partners on the ground in the various locations we stayed. The itineraries and literature we were given ensured the logistics of the trip were super smooth and simple. It is not a holiday we'll forget and now I have the small trouble of sorting through 2000+ photos taken on the trip!

I attended one of School of Wok's supper clubs which I gather is run every few months which, apposed to their core business (oriental cooking classes) is a chance for punters to sit back sample the food cooked by the experts. And experts they are! I was on my own but there was around 20-25 other people in small groups or couples - one of the great things about this event is that you are sat on larger tables which gives you a chance to mingle with strangers while sharing the various dishes brought out. It's safe to say no one goes hungry at these events, and I got to try lots of things I'd not necessarily order in a restaurant. With each set of dishes, head chef Jeremy explains what is in them and the various flavours. I don't think there is a set agenda - more a compilation of their best/favourite dishes so I was trying various fish fillets on beds of marinated fruit, curries, langoustines, king prawns and amazing fishcakes (I have no idea what they were coated in but tasted awesome!) It is a super relaxed and open environment and it's no wonder that these events are full capacity. This event is definitely on my radar for next time with the missus and am inclined to take one of the classes to learn how to cook this food myself! Highly recommended if you are looking to dine slightly differently to a stuffy overpriced restaurant.

Bounce is an awesome bar/restaurant underground with around 30 ping pong tables! So much fun with friends and work colleagues - what a genius idea! Despite my only learning of its existence recently, most of London seems to be up to speed as it is always packed and you have to book well in advance. Come for the table tennis, stay for the food - there is an italian restaurant within the bar. It is only ok, nothing special though. I have been itching to go back!

This is probably one of the better Nando's I have been to. It just seems more cosy than others. The food is the same high standard as others in the chain - everyone loves Nando's right? Perfect for a quick meal with the significant other in the evening. The only downside i can think of was the cutlery wasn't as clean/polished as it could have been but nothing a napkin couldn't sort out...

As much as I like the idea of playing golf, it turns out I am pretty rubbish at it so it is good to practice in this sectioned indoor setting! It is perfect for everyone who even has a slight interest in playing golf or just socialising over some beers. I expect it would be great for corporate events with everyone competing! Urban golf is pretty much a golf simulation with real clubs and balls which you hit at a screen which can detect speed, direction and trajectory to calculate your strike. It takes a while to get a feel for it (especially putting) but it is a great alternative to playing in the cold. Get a few of your mates together, get some beers in and get rid of some aggression, great fun!

I can't believe the amount of people who live or work in London that haven't been up monument! It's only £3 and in addition to the much needed exercise most of us need, it gives awesome views of London and the Thames. I recommend this to everyone coming to visit London. The only thing that spoils it is the wire mesh surrounding the viewing platform which obscures otherwise awesome photos...oh and the amount of scaffolding/building work going on in London!

This place is massive and a must for avid walkers, nature lovers and just those that love to see awesome things. The natural features of this park are unlike anything else I've seen before and full of wild animals, awe-inspiring rock formations and hidden rivers and waterfalls. Easy to navigate by car with lots of accessible accommodation nearby. As with most national parks, there is an entry fee which spoils things a little but definately worth the price. Make a day of it to cover enough ground.
