Can L.E.A.N (Light, Encrypted, Ad choice supported, Non-invasive ads) save digital advertising??

About time some advertiser realise that they are screwing up online advertisement, but is it too little too late? I sure hope not. Advertising is key to an open and democratic web. We need it and we need to make sure content creators are getting paid. It is the main reason I refuse to use ad blockers even though they speed up web pages and stop third party scripts from executed (I block flash by default). It needs to be fixed ASAP.
