Scarves.
Sony α6000, Sigma 19mm f/2.8, Nissin Di700A off to the right on its plastic stand.
A speedlight experiment, TTL in a dark room. Heavily cropped and mildly processed in Lr.

Another SF Botanical Garden photo with fill flash, but with rather different subject, exposure and post processing than the one I posted a couple days ago.
Sony α6000, Sigma 19mm f/2.8, Nissin i40.
ISO 100, f/8, 1/60, TTL.

Potentially great news. If they test as well as the 12mm f/2. Finally genuinely fast, quality primes for Sony APS-C cameras.

New update for the SELP18105G. Seems hardly worth the trouble. UPDATE: Seems that the new feature is only for a7 family bodies.

Yeah, I need all the +1s I can get.

It occurs to me that it would be interesting if we could separately +1 the text of a G+ post (that is, what you're reading at this very instant) vis-a-vis the share included in a post. That is, sometimes you want to credit the poster's text specifically, rather than a general +1 that doesn't differentiate between a shared item and the associated poster's text. Am I making any sense?

A crazy experiment inspired by the first nice (cool, cloudy) day in San Francisco for a while. A tiny, on-camera speedlight outdoors with wildly underexposed ambient, messed with a bit in Lr and converted to B&W.
Sony α6000, Sigma 19mm f/2.8, Nissin i40.
ISO 100, f/8, 1/1000, TTL/HSS.
All my images look great on the cheapo 4k TV I use as a photo editing monitor, but this one especially.
