"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 HCSB)

Which are you choosing, the wages you deserve or the gift that you don't? Personally, I'll take the gift.

Figuring out a way to get Google+ to post to Facebook and Twitter

Ok, I have been trying for a few days to make it so that I can have my G+ posts sent automatically to Posterous and then on to Facebook and Twitter. This may seem counter intuitive, but there are just somethings that I want to share on multiple stream without retyping them. I have been fiddling with If This Then That and I think I may have the solution (this post is as much a test as a sharing of ifttt). If I'm right, the key is to have Posterous autopost anything from a public source and having ifttt act on posts from my G+ RSS feed. I hope this works!

Old for some, new for me

It may seem strange that I haven't taken advantage of this before, but I just discovered Amazon's free music. This is probably fueled from my switch to an iPhone and the full integration of my music in iTunes on my Mac. Combined with iTunes Match, I think I have found a "new" way to discover music and artists.

Well, we have now lived in New Jersey 6 weeks and I have to say I really like it. I am sure that as time passes I will find things I really don't like, but for now all is peachy!

What does this chart say about the effect of social media on our brains and workflow?

SAVN.tv, the new street corner for ministry by The Salvation Army

If you haven't checked out SAVN.tv yet, I would encourage you to do so. This is the USA Western Territory's internet tv station which is the street corner of the 21st century. This past Thursday I saw a live production in the San Diego Kroc Corps theatre that sparked my creativity and encouraged me to be a part of Revolution! I pray that you'll join us.

You get what you pay for. This hotel was rather run down and sketchy. The hallways smelled of cigarettes and the free breakfast was basically toast and coffee. I will likely never stay there again.

Great food with homemade taste. I had gnocchi with Italian Sausage sauce and I couldn't take a bite without having at least two pieces of sausage, it was fantastic!

I moved to NJ from San Diego over 3 years ago and I have been searching for authentic Mexican food ever since. Mission accomplished! If you are in Tampa you need to come here, the food is excellent and the prices are right. If your idea of good Mexican is On The Border or some other chain, don't bother coming as this will be wasted on you.

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Close to shopping, restaurants and the highway. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an easy to find, well maintained hotel. Other than not offering free breakfast, I found this to be one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in the past few years. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I also enjoyed having an in room Koenig and refrigerator. Would definitely stay here again the next time I travel I95.

We needed a place to stay for 1 night near work. This was perfect! The room was clean and comfy, the breakfast free and filling. I would stay here again.
