An even finer than usual (if that's possible) Gilbertsville morris tour.

It was a Dell. Just saying.
Here's something new to add to the lexicon of computer commands: CTRL + ALT + UNLOAD.

Music by the inch

I suppose I’m also a Doctor Who heretic, in that I’ve watched only about three or four stories from the years of the first two Doctors (William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton) and regarded them as… well… pretty bad. I’m sure I’ve said this before, but to…

Sounds like the kind of thing certain acquaintances of mine would get into.
Today, Phenomena gets a little spookier as we welcome Erika Engelhaupt to the salon. The name of her blog says it all: In Gory Details, she'll be bringing you tales from the darker side of science ...

This guy hacked his Sphero to make a functioning BB-8 Ball Droid, and wrote up the instructions for us. It works!
As an industrial designer, I’ve been particularly fascinated by products that have personality and emotion. And I think the droids in Star Wars have always been really great at capturing a character without facial expression and drawing you in. And BB-8 was no different when they brought it out onstage …

I suppose I’ve always been a heretic to the Star Wars faithful. I loved Episode IV, A New Hope, when I saw it in June of 1977 — back when it was just Star Wars. Loved Episode V when it came out too. I merely liked Episode VI, though. The Death Star II, I…

...Now the prequels... I had been so prepared for disappointment by bad reviews of The Phantom Menace that when I saw it in the theater, it actually exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed it! Seeing it again on video a couple of years later, I realized it really was terrible, if one could discount the sheer spectacle of it.

But that same day I saw Attack of the Clones and enjoyed that quite a bit... but I'll be damned if I could tell you what most of the plot was. It's fled from my brain and I haven't watched it again. I remember there was some awful romance stuff and a lot of great-looking fight and chase scenes.

Revenge of the Sith was by far the best of the three, but that was 90% because of one guy, Ian McDiarmid chewing the hell out of the scenery as our buddy Palpatine. It's really his movie, and the other two might have done better to put him a little more in the foreground. He's just great.

Not a business with a long term future.
This image might not be in the public domain outside of the United States; this especially applies in the countries and areas that do not apply the rule of the shorter term for US works, such as Canada, Mainland China (not Hong Kong or Macao), Germany, Mexico, and Switzerland.
