Prices for common legal services are going down because of over supply. The real poblem is engagement -- getting consumers to want to use lawyers and understand when they can be useful. As lawyer fees go down, a non lawyer class of professionals serving the public directly makes less sense then it used to be. This nonlawyer movement is about 15 years too late. I used to be an advocate of this idea, ( around 1985), but times have changed.

Of course you could get law schools to train this new class of legal professionals, load them up with student loans, push them into an overly saturated market where they can't make a living sufficient to pay off their loans and make their lives miserable also. Another scam!

Flying home from the grand opening of the LegalForce Store in Palo Alto. A real experiment in a click and mortar approach for legal services.. Only time will tell if it works.
