Happy 3 year anniversary Kiosk Browser!

It’s been 3 years since Kiosk Browser for Android™ launched and boy has it been a busy time. So let’s all have some cake to celebrate :)

Anniversary Release (v2.50)
The latest release contains a brand new feature called the App Drawer. This allows Kiosk users to launch installed applications from within Kiosk Browser, a list of applications can be defined within settings/remote management. Handy if your users need access to one or two extra apps.

History
Kiosk Browser has come a long long way in 3 years. It started life as a simple application for a client, developed by me. We now have multiple developers contributing and thousands of customers across the globe. Kiosk Browser powers 75,000+ devices!

Thanks to all of our customers for your ongoing feedback, we strive to provide a feature rich product mostly driven by your feature requests :)

Credits
+Emma Daw for the amazing Kiosk Browser anniversary cake ;)

+Jovie Brett Bardoles created the awesome app icon and various other graphics.

+Chris Lacy for inspiring me to delve into the world of Android development (I only used to develop for Windows). Chris’ Google+ post proved to be the starting point… https://plus.google.com/+ChrisLacy/posts/UQD4e1jgLS1

+Twan Hoven created some illustrations historically used on Google Play and our website.

+Aidan Follestad has created some super useful libraries (material-dialogs, inquiry, digitus), they’ve all contributed in getting features implemented quickly. https://github.com/afollestad

Introducing Project Pix

Use your Android device to take photos and organise into projects, view across multiple devices and allow others to add their photos to your projects.

Project Pix was primarily designed for business users who wish to centrally store photos taken by employees using their own devices. However there are a million-and-one other use cases.

Whilst in BETA the service is completely free.
