Stačilo trocha trpezlivosti a dlhá expozícia a vznikol takýto parádny obraz...

Original Work "Wandering far from Center"

Day off from work today, so taking the opportunity to process some of the photos from last month.

Another shot from the dunes around near Cervantes, Western Australia.  The center of the milky way is rising above the horizon, and my footsteps on the dunes lead away.  Just to the left is a depression, there are a number of these around these dunes - you need to be careful if wandering about in the dark otherwise you could tumble down these.

Composed of two exposures taken immediately one after the other.  The foreground has been lit up with a torch / lamp combination on a static mount with a 30 sec exposure.  For this I shone the torch on one side of the camera, then walked to the otherside and repeated to remove deep shadows (which are usually produce a good effect as well but I wanted a clearer shot of the foreground).  The sky was shot with a 116 sec exposure on a tracking mount, and then composited in photoshop with the foreground to produce the final image.

Enjoy, Will.
