Is this new? This is from the knowledge panel for a hotel. It says "Review summaries provided by TrustYou."

Yeah, it will be problematic for SEOs wanting to be listed, but great for plumbers, roofers, landscapers, mechanics, etc.

If you ever have clients using Gmail that can't find their Yelp confirmation email, be sure they check the social tab. Doh!

I agree. Even Google doesn't pay as much attention to tabbed content ;-)

Can anyone point me towards a good resource to learn about AJAX and Javascript for SEOs? I'm not a coder and don't want to learn to code with it; I just want to be able to recognize SEO related issues on sites using it and be able to discuss it with developers..

Hi all, I have a client who moved their business to a new city 250 miles away. They claimed their old GMB listing and changed the address. As a result, Google created a new listing, which they have verified, but the old one is showing in search results and is shown as unverified. What's the best approach to get the new listing to show for a branded search instead of the old incorrect one? Search for "Inkspot Crow Films" to see the result. Add Brevard NC to see the correct claimed listing. Thanks!

I've got a client who needs to transition their Facebook pages to parent/child pages. How should I go about establishing an agency  relationship with Facebook so that I can manage this process for clients?  I'm a one-man shop and haven't done any Facebook advertising, but I assume I will need to in order to get going on this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

+Rich Owings There is a great unofficial Facebook support group for multi-location businesses:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/unofficiallocationshelp/
I've always been able to get Facebook to respond to multi-location business questions via this link from my Facebook Business Manager interface: https://business.facebook.com/business/contact-us/

GMB now allows you to specify a region when adding a service area business. I think that beore you could only give a radius or add cities or zip codes. Now you can add states.

Very interesting. That is not very hyper local friendly. So now a SAB can setup a statewide or countrywide service area with ease.

Hi, I've got a new client with two GMB listings, one for a former street address which he has give me access to, and an unclaimed listing that uses his mailing address. Google shows the latter when you search for his business name. Should I just update the address on the old listing to his current street address and then ask GMB support to merge the two listings?

Hope this goes beyond the testing stage!
Google has rolled out a feature to a small percentage of users that will make it easier for all those business owners who can’t remember where they claimed their listing in Google My Business. Now, for a select group of users, you’ll see a hint for the email address the listing is claimed in when [...]

Hi all,

Not sure if this is new or not. When I search for pharmacies, independent pharmacies, compounding pharmacies, etc. I'm seeing no review stars in the map pack. Any idea what that is about? I was getting ready to encourage a client to solicit reviews but it's kind of hard to make that point now!

I would suggest that is due to the word "pet" in both the name and query

I'll give them points for fresh ingredients but the rice bowls are just meat and rice and I was disappointed in the vermicelli shrimp dish... Usually my favorite. Very pricey. Go to a traditional Vietnamese restaurant instead
