Featuring solid oak construction for natural beauty and longevity, the eye-catching 48" Celine Double Sink Vanity in Espresso was made to last a lifetime. The single-piece ceramic dual sink countertop adds a unique visual flair unrivaled by other modern vanities, and the contrast between the rounded basin and the rich natural wood is simply stunning. This modern classic truly makes a statement! The Celine provides ample storage space with three s...

Ordered it from #LEGO  the day it came out because I missed getting one at Comic Con. Just finally put it together over lunch today. Very fun.

In honor of banned book week.

"There has to be at least one kid at a junior high school much like mine who wonders, like I once wondered, whether there's anyone else like him on Earth (or at least in the library). I wish that kid could pick up my book and read the answer for himself..."
Shortly after Better Nate Than Ever was released earlier this year, a pattern began to emerge: Librarians who had loved the book and invited me to visit their students were suddenly canceling those visits, backing out for fear of parental backlash.

We didn't have a reservation and were worried we couldn't get in - on a busy Friday. But was just a 45 minute wait for 5 people which was reasonable. The food - wow. I always have a pizza, this time the pizza of the week - arugula pesto, ricotta, filet mignon, fresh arugula. Did NOT disappoint. The wine list is the only negative. It's a great list but the organization of U.S. wines is terrible. Extremely hard to find what you're looking for - a little attention to that would be helpful. Again, the list is great - and the wine we found was great, but wow. Eye chart! Must try: Meatball appetizer & Mia pizza. Both do not disappoint!

Italian food from real Italians? What's not to love. We came here for the pizza (friends live nearby) and have been coming back ever since. It's run like a family atmosphere - probably because it's a family business - and we've tried a variety of their apps, pastas and desserts. Our favorites so far: The "fried" pizza and calzone. The "pizza in a jar" appetizer. The lasagna (a comfort food, sure). They also do a lobster pasta every so often that comes in a half-lobster shell. And you get the claw meat and all. So good. This is a go-to place when family or friends are in town. We love it.

Where can you find a James Beard award restaurant that's regularly mentioned in Wine Spectator? Right here. Seriously. I've always known they have great food - but had no idea they were nationally recognized. Our San Diego friends are always jealous of our pics and raves on Facebook about the food and wine. A must visit for any foodie visiting NW Iowa.

We love Pitch whenever we're in Omaha - we always stop by at least once. Amazing pizza and apps (seriously have the meatballs - or meatball pizza!). Great wine list (though a bit of an eye chart on legal size paper) and always something perfect to go with whatever you order.

We discovered Bistro Sixty in 2009 when we bought a house in the neighborhood that needed renovated. Badly. We had no kitchen so we went here for lunch and dinner when we were in town working on the house. Over the last 7 years we've become friends with the staff - and still come at least once a week to enjoy dinner or brunch. We're from Iowa - and Mark (the owner) is from Omaha - so the food is very "upscale midwest comfort food." Like the food we grew up with kicked up a notch. Never had a bad meal here and glad it's in the El Cerrito 'hood!

Really enjoyed this concept hotel. The hot breakfast was delicious and easy - even though it was self serve. Great hotel in a great location (and conveniently walkable to Pitch's West Omaha location!). It felt like an upscale version of other hotel chains' discount offerings. Was very clean, staff was friendly, parking was ample. Overall, fantastic if you're staying out West.
