This Wintergreen condo has been tastefully redone with designer touches throughout to include an above counter sink, tiled floors, tile backslashes, custom kitchen cabinets, earth tone painted interior - the list goes on. This peaceful interior has Fung Shui written all over it. Combine this with the tranquility of the private forested greenbelt outside your patio door and you'll never want to leave - sure to put a smile on your face!!

Say what you want to about Donald Trump but, if nothing else, it looks like he might be partially responsible for the resurrection of my favorite comic strip "Bloom County"  http://fortune.com/2015/07/13/bloom-county-cartoon-returns/
Pulitzer Prize winner Berkeley Breathed announces return of his cartoon. His inspiration: Donald Trump the presidential candidate.

I have no problem giving him credit for that as he is a comic strip in his own right.

This charming duplex has been tastefully updated and still retains its old world Victorian charm. Enjoy 2nd level views of the Bay and Mt. Baker. The downstairs unit has a wonderful sunroom perfect for watching the sunsets over Bham Bay and even a rosemary bush outside to season your dinners. It's situated in the middle of the city tucked into a quiet neighborhood. it's a 5 minute walk to downtown and short hop to WWU or I-5. It's been a great investment being both easy to rent and to care for

A "Whale Watching" tour on the Victoria Star is a must for anyone visiting Whatcom County.  It's a star studded event to beginning with the home made brownies provided by the Victoria Star followed by a live performance of the the J-Pod Whales, it's world class in every respect.

If you have interest in making our backyard yours, contact The Johnson Team @ 888 713 3056 and ask them to send you their Relocation Package.

Bellingham Real Estate - Up / Down / Sideways???????????????????
This may help you decide.
http://blog.johnsonteamrealestate.com/the-market-is-shifting/
In the 6 months ending in June, the Bellingham market accounted for 37% of the residential, single family sales in Whatcom County. This was the lowest market share since I started tracking sales in 2006. Now consider this: total residential, single family units sold in Whatcom County was up by 24.6% over last year at this time; Bellingham was up by 6.3%. The Bellingham market is still growing, but the rate of growth has slowed, which raises...

The wanderer Upon a mountain height, far from the sea, I found a shell, And to my listening ear the lonely thing Ever a song of ocean seemed to sing, Ever a tale of ocean seemed to tell. How came the shell upon that mountain height? Ah, who can say Whether there dropped by some too careless hand, Or whether there cast when Ocean swept the Land, Ere the Eternal had ordained the Day? Strange, was it not? Far from its native deep, One song it sang,-- Sang of the awful mysteries of the tide, Sang of the misty sea, profound and wide,-- Ever with echoes of the ocean rang. And as the shell upon the mountain height Sings of the sea, So do I ever, leagues and leagues away,-- So do I ever, wandering where I may,-- Sing, O my home! sing, O my home! of thee. 1883. Eugene Field
Introduction
For the past 24 years I've been given the opportunity to play a small part in one of the most exciting decisions a person can make helping 100’s find the home of their dreams It’s a responsibility that I don’t take lightly and one which continues to excite me

Beyond that, my passion is to travel in the footsteps of those who have gone before me trying to understand their journey so that I can better understand mine.

To that end, I've:

Visited the homes of Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Madison & Monroe
Seen where Napoleon crossed the Alps at St-Bernard Pass
Ridden an elephant through the gates of Angkor Wat
Hiked the Blue Ridge, Appalachian & Pacific Crest Trails
Followed Lee, Mead, Pickett & Chamberlain at the Battle of Gettysburg
Looked into the crater of Mt Vesuvius
Viewed the "Laetoli Footsteps" in Tanzania considered to be the 1st evidence of human footprints
Flew off the deck of aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge
Hiked to edges of Mt Blanc's glacier
Stood at Fort Portobello imagining the fleets of Sir Francis Drake & Henry Morgan at anchor
Wandered the groundsof the Hiroshima Peace Park
At Appomattox envisioned the Confederate Army's surrender to Grant
Wandered the Roman ruins of Aosta & Rome
Hiked the jungles of Viet Nam, Laos & Cambodia
Sat next to President Lincoln's box in Ford's Theater
Eaten street food in Dar Salam, San Salvadore, Olongapol , Zanzibar & Colon
Traveled across the Isthmus of Panama on the Panama Canal Railway
Ridden a gondola in the Grand Canal
Tent camped in the Serengeti
Stood in awe of Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper" & Michelangelo's "David"
Walked the grounds of the Mayan ruins Copan

What’s next? I have a date with Christopher Columbus . He needs some help getting his ships to the New World - I figure I'm just the guy for the job.

If l see you on the trail someplace – maybe we can share a story, some trail mix or a photo of what we each call home but in some small way, try to bridge the gap that seems to separate our worlds.

You can meet on the Web or our Blog.
