Hey everyone!

So listen up. There's something big coming this weekend to Miami. And it's for everyone. Not just you, not just me.

EVERYONE.

It's the Xtreme Christian Music Conference! We got bands like Switchfoot, Hillsong United, Mikeschair, Kutless, and some more coming into town on Saturday and Sunday night.

This is something you do NOT want to miss. So if you're interested, click the link and get your tickets now! ‪#‎LoveOn‬

Just a general question to all you Nexus 7 owners out there - do you leave the auto brightness enabled, or would you rather choose to manually set the brightness?

Just received my nexus the other day, and while I'm not new to Android device, it's been a while since I used one, with my last one being a galaxy s2 (horrible battery life). So any advice here to help me keep the juice in the battery lasting longer would be most helpful.

This really sucks. Google's just trying to keep everyone in the loop, with some numbers showing how much our own GOVERNMENT is asking about us, and the Feds say no to that.

Just wrong.
We just updated our Transparency Report, showing how many requests Google gets for information about its users. But we're not allowed to give the full story because the U.S. government says that requests under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) must be kept secret. We can tell you this: Requests have more than doubled around the world since 2009, and more than tripled in the U.S.: http://g.co/u5sp

Share this if you believe you have a right to know what our governments are up to.

Hey, +Phil Nickinson. Looks like good ol' Phil Schiller is taking digs at Android. Is this enough for us to retaliate just a wee little bit?

This is one of the best articles I have read in a long time. I suggest anybody who has the time to read it does so.
"Tomorrow’s politicians, civil servants, police officers, teachers, journalists and CEOs are being created today. These people don’t know how to use computers, yet they are going to be creating laws regarding computers, enforcing laws regarding computers, educating the youth about computers, reporting in the media about computers and lobbying politicians about computers. Do you thinks this is an acceptable state of affairs? I have David Cameron telling me that internet filtering is a good thing. I have William Hague telling me that I have nothing to fear from GCHQ. I have one question for these policy makers:

"Without reference to Wikipedia, can you tell me what the difference is between The Internet, The World Wide Web, a web-browser and a search engine?

"If you can’t, then you have no right to be making decisions that affect my use of these technologies. Try it out. Do your friends know the difference? Do you?"

So, now that Google has had their fun, what are all your predictions for Apple's WWDC? I'm thinking they're going to "tease" some sort of streaming service (which probably won't be released for a while) and announce the updated Mac Pro. More than that, probably another re-hash of the iPhone, and maybe an "upgraded" iPad Mini (internally speaking, of course).

Personally, since they chose to host their conference the same exact week as E3, I won't be paying hard attention to them. But I'll be sure to catch up on highlights and whatnot.
