A Unique Book that Uses Coloring to Learn about Jesus and the Saints
BySherry J. Comptonon March 10, 2017
Format: Paperback
I picked this book, and I am so glad that I did. From the very beginning, you can tell that this is a high quality book. It starts with the Lord's Prayer and the story of Jesus's birth and life. We then learn about several angels and saints. More than a coloring book, this book offers detailed descriptions of each saint. To name a few, Saint Nicolas, Saint Joan of Arc, and Saint Kateri are all featured. Also, I was happy to see Saint Patrick on a page and a mention of how he used the 3-leaf clover to explain the trinity. I was pleasantly surprised by how thorough the descriptions were...not just one or two sentences. The pictures to color were detailed, too. This would be a good book for me to read to my niece and help her with the coloring, not a book she could read on her own, but I think the experience would be good for us both on our walk with Christ. I think this book would be great to bond over.
