I'm curious. I connect people and ideas.
Introduction
I'm a connector, of people and ideas.

I've worked as an engineer at Boeing for 16 years within a variety of groups so I know a lot of people and processes within the company.  At one time I was in a group responsible for hiring outside consultants to give engineers unique training opportunities.  I brought in big names like Seth Godin, David Allen Company, Dick Axelrod, Eli Goldratt seriesMission Control Productivity and others.

When Seth Godin launched his Triiibes.com community in connection with his book Tribes back in 2008, I signed right up, and it opened my mind to new possibilities and people (because 'changed my life' is just too cliche.)

At Boeing I worked closely with Dick Axelrod to develop highly engaging programs for employees and organizations that improved productivity and the culture of how they conducted business. Some of our work led to Dick's incredibly successful Everyday Engagement program.

I've also been involved in the Theory of Constraints since the mid 90's, reading all the books of Eli Goldratt and fellow experts, attending several conferences, and being the facilitator for the Goldratt Series broadcast at Boeing, where hundreds of employees learned Project Management the TOC way.

Of course, since getting involved with Seth and other consultants I follow a few blogs and people around entrepreneurship and productivity.  I've met Chris Guillebeau, Gary Vaynerchuk, Jonathan Fields, read Chris Brogan, Copyblogger and others.

I also was privileged to be a part of the Domino Project 'Street Team' spreading books and ideas within Boeing.  You could say I'm an 'intrapreneur,' marketing ideas, events, and movements as a grass roots effort within my corporation.
I've recently launched a new site about curiosity. Check it out at http://areyoucuriousenough.com

If you're curious enough, you can join us (me and my people.)

I also still have my starter blog where I've experimented over the years with different ideas and delivery mediums. Read, listen, or watch at  www.therexblog.com for fun.

Thanks for circling me up.  Let's connect. (You're a person with ideas aren't you?)

(And if you did watch the video, I just proved my point :)

That's interesting, but one part of the project thing is R&D. Somebody like Apple does a lot of R&D and Improve The product So people want to buy it. They upgrade it. It's the same thing with other products like clothing I have a ton of shirts but this one is different fabrics better I like how it's cut etc.
So with people and organizations perhaps the idea is to make something new and improved so they'll want to do whatever you want is they will do

More talking while I'm driving. I'm finding a way.
How do you like my new camera angle?
And who says you must have the same theme music and intro every time? I'm experimenting here. Maybe I'll settle on one I like, but there are so many options :)  Enjoy.

Whether you're religious or not, I'm thinking most people have heard the phrase, "the good Samaritan". Here's the story, no particular language required.

Now here's something that just might be cool enough to be a part of - an artificial intelligence web site.

Your corner of the world that figures out what to do with all your content, and makes it look pretty without you worrying about it.

Check it out: https://thegrid.io/#27393

If you sign up, make sure you use my link. I get something nice (and you will too).
This is not another do-it-yourself website builder. The Grid harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to take everything you throw at it - videos, images, text, urls and more - and automatically shape them into a custom website unique to you. As your needs grow, it evolves with you, effortlessly adapting to your needs. Want to add e-commerce? Social feeds? A different layout? The Grid just takes care of it. This is not a website builder. There's more than one way to pass the time during a long commute.
I talk to myself.
Into a camera.
So you can watch.

I have a new episode (#8) of On the Road with Rex. I've still been mostly filming every day, but haven't been able to do the post production every day, so I have quite the backlog. I like making more fun productions rather than just posting it up raw (but it sure does take longer :(

Thanks for watching. You like? Any suggestions?

It takes more effort to edit than record. So I am recording every day, just not getting the editing done. It's still fun though.
