Current cost of buying income for retirement (corporate earnings, dividends, or fixed income) has doubled since 1980. Future retirees will need a lot more money than in the past if trends continue. Only way to overcome it is to save more and/or retire later. This study does not paint a rosy picture of cost to retire, but it is better to know the challenges of retirement vs blindly going into it and going broke. http://ow.ly/J6hY30aZK83
