Our mobile POS and multi-location POS setups are better than cloud solutions because they allow you to continue to run your business when you can't connect to the internet or more commonly the internet is slow (sales can't be slow).   We do this by synchronizing data across the internet with a VPN.  If you think you should be synchronizing data and aren't, here are some good troubleshooting tips to help you are not synchronizing and think you should be.  http://bit.ly/1RKLxiZ.

Monday is Presidents' Day. So our office will be closed. If you need help with your system (e.g., moves, reinstalls, etc.) you might want to take care of it tomorrow or later in week. During this Federal holiday, sales emergency support will be available only to customers on the RetailEdge Gold Service Plan. The sales department will be closed. As usual our 2016 Holiday Schedule is listed here. http://bit.ly/1J9uNEp

The holidays are over and hopefully your physical inventories too, Now is the time to analyze your years sales and inventory so you can make the proper buying decisions.

Here is a great forum post (http://bit.ly/1UQjhid) that provides tips on how to Memorize and Filter Reports as well as how to Export Data.  In addition you will find the answers to these common report questions:

1.  What is the difference between Quantity and Count?

2.  What is the difference between a Deposit (Open Order) and a Sale?

3.  Why is there a difference between the Deposit Total and Sales Total on a Closing Report?

4.  What do all these date filters mean?
