Dino Days is TOMORROW, which means today is our last #DinoFactFriday! Giganotosaurus was a fearsome carnivore, and it was even bigger and faster than T. Rex. However, this giant dino had a brain the size of a banana—only half the relative size of T. Rex's brain!

Who else LOVES raptors?🙋 We sure do, and we happen to have one running around the zoo this weekend at DINO DAYS! Jasper the Raptor is a Utahraptor, the largest raptor in the world. Come by this weekend to see him up close!

Happy #WorldSnakeDay! Not everyone enjoys snakes, but here at Reptiland, we're wild about them! There's so much to appreciate about these amazing creatures. Pictured here is one of the most dangerous venomous snakes in North America, the eastern diamondback rattlesnake. Its large fangs and high venom yield make this snake as formidable as it is beautiful!

Happy #DinoFactFriday! T. Rex is known for its comically tiny arms—but don't underestimate them! A conservative estimate of their strength indicates that they could curl at least 430 lbs. Not too shabby!

Visit T. Rex at our DINO DAYS event July 21 & 22!

It's #DinoFactFriday again! Before Jurassic Park made T. Rex and Velociraptor household names, Allosaurus was one of the first dino movie stars! The Lost World (1925) featured Allosaurus alongside Pteranodon and Brontosaurus (later renamed Apatosaurus).
