When a movie whitewashes source material with non-white characters: "Well, y'know, Hollywood has to find the best actors for the job, and race isn't really important."

When a movie doesn't whitewash non-white characters: "This is an outrage! $X was my favorite character, and now you've ruined $X by making them black!"
The good news? The Hunger Games made $155 million at the box office its opening weekend, making it the third-best debut in North American box office history.

The part that really got me about this rage is that RUE IS DESCRIBED AS HAVING DARK BROWN SKIN. WITH WORDS AND EVERYTHING. RIGHT THERE.
