I should have someone come in to fix my AC unit. It is currently not working which is fine for now. It is going to get really hot in a month or two so I want to have it fixed by then.

The #1 way to extend the life of your air conditioning system is to change the filter regularly! #2 is to have your system maintenanced once a year. You wouldn't drive your car for more than a year without changing the oil, etc. Same goes for your home air conditioning system. Every dollar spent on maintenance will save you hundreds of dollars on repair and replacements!

I had called several AC places before I called REM. When I called, I was able to talk to a live person right away, who scheduled me for an appointment that day. Because of my husband's conflicting schedule, I had to change the appointment twice, and REM was sweet and understanding both times. When Chris came out to service our units, he was fantastic. He got there before his window of time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and walked my husband through everything. He had a really positive attitude and was attentive to the floors in our home by using a drop cloth and removing his shoes (which was not even asked for or needed). REM has attention pays attention to detail and has exceptional customer service. We would recommend REM to everyone!

Top Shelf. The service is timely, efficient, clean, courteous and everything else you could ask from a service team. The annual check up is well worth the cost to ensure I continue to get the most out of my unit. They installed this unit several years ago now and its the best thing I ever did. I've had the benefit of excellent cooling and heating and immediately realized savings in my electric bill. REM of Tampa . . you guys are great!

One of the best experiences I have ever had. We needed to replace our entire AC. The owner of the franchise came out immediately and helped us to install an entire new system on a Saturday. The new system involved a lot of carpentry and other things. All this complicated stuff went smoothly and I was more than 100% satisfied with the results. I have had these people monitor my system for the past three years and their help has been outstanding. When they installed our new system, they really shown! Superb service. 100% professional. I do not thing that I need say more!

I am in the habit of waiting six months or so after I purchase any major product before writing a review. Will folks here it is - this is an excellent company! When our old unit finally completely died I called REM and a serviceman came out in less than two hours. He was able to get cool air with a band-aid fix, but he recommended it would be far cheaper to not invest any more money and just bite the bullet with a new unit. Boy, am I glad I took his advise. I have compared our electric bill each month with the same month last year and on average, they have been cut in half. They installed a new very efficient Rheem condenser and air handler and rebuilt the existing platform that it rested on, and in addition installed new duct work and added a12x12 return in our master bedroom at no extra cost to the quoted price for the new handler alone (which was reasonable to begin with.) Then they also added a new drain from the handler to the outside of the house so that it would run downhill with half the distance. On top of all that, the foreman of the team took out the grill from the main return and spray painted it AND surprised me by cutting and installing a new crawl space cover with 3/4" plywood to the garage attic and fixed it so that it now simply slid on rails instead of having to remove it each time to get up inside. It's a little thing, yes...but it's the little things that make this company outstanding when compared to their competitors. The cleanup was impeccable. Special thanks to everyone for everything.

I called the first time a very nice operator responded and told me she will page a mechanic named Mario. I waited hours he never called. I called a second time and she apologized and explained he will call me so I waited more. then finally, I spoke to a guy named Mario over the phone. He seemed very rude. I told him my Air conditioner had to be put on 50 in order for it to cool at 75. He responded me by saying " that's not a problem, how is that a problem. all that means that your unit has to work more to cool. Inside me, I was thinking what a rude man. He did not even consider my issue to be a problem. He later told me I had to pay him 130 dollars just to come here to my house and check what it Is wrong, even if he cant fix it he told me I had to pay that. He did not let me explain the issue or ask me any information about my a/c unit. I go to google to find for good guys based on reviews and this guy just made the company look really bad. i'm a business owner and if a guy yells and act rude towards my customers giving them an attitude as soon as he talks to them. I will fire him. very nasty man. he should be fired. I hope no one else at the company is this way.

We needed the original HVAC unit in our town home from 1999 to be completely replaced. REM was the first estimate we received. We had a great meeting with Joe, he's honest, up front, and we just trusted that if we used REM, he'd make sure the work was done right. We received estimates from two other companies, one came in higher, one lower, but we knew we wanted to use REM based on our meeting with Joe. REM was able to work with us a bit on the price and were available to do the installation just a few days later. A team of 4 guys showed up right on time and took 5 hours start to finish. Even the City of Tampa inspector kept saying what a great job they did. We look forward to having them maintain this new unit for years to come.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of using REMs services over the course of the last couple of years and every time we are extremely impressed. Most recently we had them come in to do a repair and found that we had to replace our entire air conditioning unit. Not only were they quick (the entire analysis, appraisal and installation all happened within a three day time frame and that was over the holidays). It is nice knowing that you have a company that will work with you with both honesty and integrity specifically when you do not have much knowledge around the topic. We absolutely would recommend working with REM regardless of your need.

REM Air Conditioning is an expert A/C repair service that shows up on time, identifies the problem accurately and doesn't try to sell you a new unit or services you do not need. I called them because I was desperate. Another company had been out to my property 3 times and failed to properly identify the problem with my unit. During those three times, they proposed various repairs, which turned out unnecessary, because they didn't fix the issue I was having, and in addition to the time wasted (about 20 hours of waiting time total), cost me about $700. In the end, they just told me to buy a new unit. That's when REM saved the day. When I described my problem to them over the phone, they immediately knew what was wrong with my unit. When the tech came out (ON TIME!) the next day, he confirmed the diagnostic and fixed my unit. It turned out to be a simple fix that ran me about $300. I knew I could trust these guys when the tech told me, "Well, why would you replace a unit that is working or can be fixed?" It seems other AC repair companies are too preoccupied with selling you a new unit to actually accurately diagnose and fix problems that can be taken care of for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. I am so grateful for REM for being honest, responsive and ethical. I will be recommending them to all my friends and will use only them in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
