I should have someone come in to fix my AC unit. It is currently not working which is fine for now. It is going to get really hot in a month or two so I want to have it fixed by then.

Fast, professional & reasonable rates! When our 13 year old AC system decided to kick the bucket, we looked at a lot of different companies online & read many reviews. REM air conditioning company gets the highest ratings because they truly are the BEST in Tampa, my husband & I found that out first hand. Mario came out and examined our AC system when it first went down, we discovered we had huge leaks in both the inside & outside unit. Joe came over and spoke with my husband about installing a new unit, with a 10 year warranty. The rates were extremely reasonable, my father who is a retired AC tech looked over the estimate & said he felt the estimate was fair & a good deal with the warranty that we were getting. When the AC completely went out, they came the very next day to replace our units. Ben and the whole team that came that day was amazing! They were fast, polite, kept everything very clean when they were doing the inside work. They installed a great WiFi thermostat which my husband loves. It was truly pleasure doing business with this company! A++++++++++++++++++

I had called several AC places before I called REM. When I called, I was able to talk to a live person right away, who scheduled me for an appointment that day. Because of my husband's conflicting schedule, I had to change the appointment twice, and REM was sweet and understanding both times. When Chris came out to service our units, he was fantastic. He got there before his window of time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and walked my husband through everything. He had a really positive attitude and was attentive to the floors in our home by using a drop cloth and removing his shoes (which was not even asked for or needed). REM has attention pays attention to detail and has exceptional customer service. We would recommend REM to everyone!

If you are looking for an honest, experienced Air Conditioning company ... this is it. Their bid on the job was complete, the work (and workers) were experienced and efficient. In speaking with the city inspector after the install ... he commented that REM is "one of the good ones ... this shouldn't take long". We received quotes from 7 different companies, and while REM wasn't the cheapest, I can honestly say that they were the best. Their Angie List and BBB ratings are excellent, and now i know why. There is something to be said about a company like REM, that is family owned from the city in which they service. Nobody likes to have repairs, but knowing that it is done right (actually better than before) is something you can feel good about. They have a new "life long" customer and I will not hesitate to recommend them.

Top Shelf. The service is timely, efficient, clean, courteous and everything else you could ask from a service team. The annual check up is well worth the cost to ensure I continue to get the most out of my unit. They installed this unit several years ago now and its the best thing I ever did. I've had the benefit of excellent cooling and heating and immediately realized savings in my electric bill. REM of Tampa . . you guys are great!

Unfortunately, my old AC decided to wet its platform, warping the base it sat on and causing it to fall back against the wall, draining even more behind the wall and into my living room and master bath. Thank goodness for Chris at REM Air Conditioning. He came out on a Saturday evening and added blood sweat and tears to the mess behind my wall. The end result was an effective temporary fix to prevent further damage until I can replace the unit and the platform it rests on. He didn't charge me nearly as much as I feared and he was both professional and personable. He explained all my options and everything he was doing. He was extremely knowledgeable, pointing out obscure details and facts about my particular AC system as he worked. He was quick and efficient, too. If you need an AC job done and want it done right, call REM. These guys really take care of their customers.

I contacted REM Air Conditioning of Tampa for the First Time about a week ago. I am very pleased and impressed with their services for the following reasons: (1) My call was answered promptly and courteously. (2) I was told the Svc Technician would be here to help us in 1-2 hours (which was a fine time frame). (3) Within 15 mins or so, I received a follow-up call to inform me the Svc Technician was on his way. (4) The Svc Technician arrived sooner than I expected. (5) The Svc Technician (Mr. Frank Fasulo) was respectful, dedicated, hard-working, relentless in trying to determine what was wrong with the system. (6) The Svc Technician (Mr. Frank Fasulo) not only fixed what was wrong with the system (the overflow shutoff valve and gunk in the drainage system), but went further and cleaned a very dirty ground unit that had, over the years, accumulated internally a large amount of leaves, thus negatively affecting the performance of the unit. I was pleased (A) with the courteous and prompt service provided by the office staff, and (B) very pleased with the performance of Technician, Mr. Frank Fasulo.

I called the first time a very nice operator responded and told me she will page a mechanic named Mario. I waited hours he never called. I called a second time and she apologized and explained he will call me so I waited more. then finally, I spoke to a guy named Mario over the phone. He seemed very rude. I told him my Air conditioner had to be put on 50 in order for it to cool at 75. He responded me by saying " that's not a problem, how is that a problem. all that means that your unit has to work more to cool. Inside me, I was thinking what a rude man. He did not even consider my issue to be a problem. He later told me I had to pay him 130 dollars just to come here to my house and check what it Is wrong, even if he cant fix it he told me I had to pay that. He did not let me explain the issue or ask me any information about my a/c unit. I go to google to find for good guys based on reviews and this guy just made the company look really bad. i'm a business owner and if a guy yells and act rude towards my customers giving them an attitude as soon as he talks to them. I will fire him. very nasty man. he should be fired. I hope no one else at the company is this way.

Hi Mr Tenorio, Just to clarify, we never visited your home, and you never hired us to service your air conditioner. We do pride ourselves on superb customer satisfaction. So after looking into the situation, I believe there was some miscommunication here. You did call our after-hours operator at 3:52PM on Saturday afternoon. She explained that our on-call technician (Mario) would call you back as soon as possible. You called again 28 minutes later before Mario had a chance to return your call.. I sincerely apologize for that delay. We make every effort to get a technician to your house as soon as physically possible. Being a hot Saturday afternoon, service calls that day were extremely busy. Mario was in fact finishing up another call before he was to head to your home. Prior to heading to your home, Mario called you to further understand your problem and explain the service fees to you. Once you informed him that it was 75 degrees in your home, he explained that to come to your house on a Saturday, you would be charged weekend emergency fees. And with your home being at a reasonable temperature for such a hot day, he was just trying to save you from having to pay an after-hours emergency fee. He felt that the situation could possibly be remedied on Monday, hence saving you the emergency fees. But you then declined to have the technician come out nor reschedule until Monday. He was not discounting your comfort level. He was just trying to save you money. We should have communicated this to you in a better way. I called them to ask if they can just hook a a 2 ton unit I bought. They couldn't do it because they only hook up units you buy from them that they can warranty with makes sense to me but they guy at least try to help and told me he has a friend that can do it for me. I called one hour air before and they wouldn't tell me nothing unless I gave them $100 to come out. At least this place can tell me they don't do the work I want but 1 hour air won't tell you unless you give them $100 that sound like a scam to get $100 from many people.
