A couple of days before this shot i’d looked out to sea and seen a deep red glow on the horizon. To begin with it looked like a massive explosion until sanity returned and it was the sun on the horizon between a gap in the clouds, Move forward two days and a nice gap in the clouds again allowed for a really nice sunset scene as the sun appeared for a few minutes before heading to the Southern Hemisphere. Staying in Hyde Park and this couple were ahead of me walking under a bridge. I know what I was trying to achieve with the shot, but not convinced it worked. I probably could have done with standing slightly more to the right….

While walking through Hyde Park this bird did a loop around me before landing on on a meta railing. Luckily I hand the camera in my hand so grabbed a couple of shots. Amazingly tame!

One thing that’s obvious when you’re in the outback is there is little shade from the sun – even the caves that can be found around the base of Uluru offer little cover at certain times of the day. So always have plenty of water and wear sun screen if…

Staying with the sunset theme and as the sun heads towards the horizon it casts a nice golden light over the west sand. Taken at West Runton on the North Norfolk coast.

I don’t normally go this crazy with the HDR affects but I sort of like the overly saturated feel to this to go with the sunburst. (6 views) Aperture: ƒ/10 Camera: urst. I thought i’d look back through a few older photos and came acros this one from 2014 in Marrakech – a great city with amazing smells of food cooking and intense shopping experiences. The times we were told we were ‘going the wrong way’ when heading back to the Riad was interesting! One of the reat things about these passage ways in the number of bikes that blast up and down – as the tyre marks on the ground show! Would love to go back – but only ...
