A lyrical feature-length documentary film-in-progress (formerly "The Poet's Calling") that evocatively explores the flesh-and-blood man behind one of the world's most beloved and important poets. An inspiring affirmation of the power of emotion to drive social change and celebrate life.

Happy Birthday Pablo Neruda! (born on July 12, 1904 (died in 1973)) This year, right now, this clip of his enduring legacy seems appropriate to share again.

"A Thousand Times No" - Art historian Bahia Shehab incorporates Neruda's words in a tremendously moving manner as she spays Arabic script for the word "no" on the streets of Cairo during the Arab Spring of 2011. (Bahia will be featured in our film) Que Viva Pablo Neruda!
