Need a new set of #superlight #trekkingpoles for your next #backpacking trip? @Fizan makes the lightest in the world. http://ow.ly/Hzrx8
I was so stoked to review the Redfox Fizan trekking poles. At 158 grams they make the bold claim of being the world’s lightest, and maybe they are.

"Keep moving! I told myself as I hit the ground and tried to scramble between the rocks and out of the way... There was a brief pause in the noise as I tried to get to my feet and to safety, then the obvious sound of heavy rock on rock. It’s an eerie scraping, shifting sound. This one was followed by my scream..."

"...Quinn arrived soon after and hit me with the reality of our goal; we had to move as fast as we could, or we would not reach the top... I spent the rest of my lead block attempting to find the streamline transition between aid and free climbing, an art that she has perfected. I fought, I bled, I tore my clothes, but I managed to learn a thing or two and play my part."

All duffel bags are not created equal. & @ChrisWeidner thinks the Red Fox Expedition Duffel is better than average. http://ow.ly/Hzqcr
After a month on the road & repeated abuse, my Expedition Duffel Bag 100 still performs like new. I like this bag so much I wish I had all the other sizes.

Story

Quality Outdoor Clothing and Equipment since 1989
Introduction
Red Fox builds for extremes. Our products were designed in the world’s harshest climates in Russia, by and for some of the heartiest, most skilled mountaineers on the planet. We believe frills just get in the way. So our equipment and clothing is streamlined for absolute efficiency to withstand the most radical temperatures and weather changes imaginable. Our products keep you warm, dry, and protected from the elements. It’s as simple as that.

Our history: With a desire to climb the peaks of Russia's Caucasus, Pamirs, and Tienshan mountains, but having only inferior tools with which to do so; founders Vladislav Moroz and Alexander Glushkovsky decided to create clothing and equipment that was not readily available in Russia. By 1989, with a bit of ingenuity and unbridled passion, Red Fox was born to build what couldn't be bought.

As mountaineers themselves, they knew what was needed to build a superior product. They gained immediate popularity amongst fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Twenty five years later, Red Fox is a leading manufacturer of high quality and innovative outerwear and equipment for both extreme outdoor adventurers and aspiring climbers.

Now expanding internationally, Red Fox has retail outlets throughout Eastern Europe, Switzerland, Nepal, and most recently; Lyons, CO.
