It is not uncommon for us to get crashed 7200.12 hard drives from older iMac computers.  But, in the case of these two ST31000528AS 7200.12 drives, they came from a system where they were setup as a RAID 1 mirror.  The whole point of a RAID 1 mirror is if…

When we assess a Liteon LMT-128M6M that our client removed from his Microsoft Surface, it was barely responding.  We could only read 256 sectors at a time before having to re-power the SSD so that we could read the next 256 sectors.  It took almost 48…

Agoglia recently discovered a major issue of data loss with their SSD drives.  They believe that they have pinpointed the root cause to be Samsung SSDs with TRIM enabled. At this moment we finally got a complete picture of what was going on. The system…

It took about an hour to get the four 8GB dumps from the two 16GB NAND chips from a 32GB SD card. It will take at least two more hours to run the ECC check and correction before we can move forward with the virtual reconstruction and file system recovery.…

We recently received a 512GB Samsung 840 PRO (MZ-7PD512) SSD that was detected as a 1GB device.  We were able to restore the SDD back to its full capacity recover 100% of the data in less than 24 hours.  All done at our base rate for SSD hard drive…

We did a major overhaul to our data recovery service prices at the beginning of the year to simplify the entire process.  It has been well received, but we felt that it could be improved upon.   Rather than wait, we just made significant modification to…

We certainly don’t post about every recovery we do, but we do like to share cases that fall outside the ordinary.  This time we had a flash back to the 90’s. Even when older hard drive issues are less complicated, they become complicated because of how…

Rolled the dice on not doing backups with a new computer and a SSD drive. Bad choice. HDD was totally fried in about a year. Luke was great at walking me through the process when we found out it might take a YEAR to recover (it was that bad). Luke tried a bunch of things that I won't pretend to understand and with the recovery force Magic made things happen. Thanks for your support and patience

These guys are awesome! They had the drive tested in less than an hour after I dropped it off, and was able to recover over 99% of the data even when they were unsure if they were going to be able. This just reinforces why Recovery Force are my go-to guys for data recovery.

I recently had a hard drive crash and was in a panic until I got in touch with Luke at Recovery Force. I had all of my data back to me within a week. VERY pleased with the service and the cost. Dave

Doug & Anne are lovely people and really care about their customers! They were able to restore all my data from my Macbook that suddenly decided to quit. All Apple offered to do was to clear the drive. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I dropped my computer with a little help of my 2 year old son. But was able to get my pictures safely returned to me thanks to the help of Luke and Doug. A very good experience from the first phone call where Anne calmed me down to the more then fair price.

Had these guys do an SSD drive since I don't have the equipment here in my lab to handle it. Luke was very quick and he got all the data back. All in all, a good experience with a data recovery company.
