Introduction
Watercolor painter, loving all things outdoors, nature, and wildlife.  Interests in biology, science, history, technology, travel, law, psychology, botany, and healthy living.

Rebecca Latham is known for her detailed realism in watercolor, a style identified as traditional miniature painting, specializing in wildlife as well as nature and occasionally portraits.

Her award winning paintings have been shown internationally in museums, including the Smithsonian, Nature in Art Museum (UK), respected galleries, and are collected in United States, Canada, England, France, Scotland, Australia, and Germany by private individuals as well as the Butler Institute of American Art, The Hartford, Miniature Art Society of Florida, and the Illinois Dept of Natural Resources

Her works used in children's books for Thompson/Gale earned finalist placement in the MN Book Awards and winner in the NW Minnesota Book Awards.

She is a member/signature member of numerous fine art societies including:
  • International Guild of Realism
  • Artists for Conservation
  • Society of Animal Artists

She supports wildlife organizations and other non-profits through her artwork and donations to give back to the community that has provided so many rich experiences in her life.

She credits her supportive parents (engineer and biologist) with her fascination with sciences.  Her mother and sister are also artists specializing in nature.

She has been blogging since 2004 about her art and experiences.
