Warning Lake County, IL residents, do not order from Long Feng Chinese a Restaurant in Round Lake Beach, IL

Absolutely ridiculous! (I write a lot of reviews and mostly positive.) Long feng's behavior was uncalled for.

Our first time ever ordering and I should of listened to the negative reviews I had read. We ordered delivery. After we ordered, we get a call back that the credit card only did a partial payment, it was a debit card and we were confused. We look online at our bank account and saw they charged the card THREE times, one of the charges was reversed, but still charged double. It overdrew the account.

We call back and speak to the manager, a very unfriendly Asian female manager who argues with us and then just abruptly hands over the phone to the young lady, stating "I'm done"

My husband even drove to the restaurant after we got our food, showed his bank statement online in real time and the woman refused to void the second charge. She said to come back in a few days.

This is NOT how you treat any customer. If we do not get a refund we will report them to the Better Business Bureau. Plus, we may get an overdraft fee that manager said she refused to pay as well.

Jai-Yen

We were able to make a reservation. It is BYOB and they were very accommodating. Especially for a randy group of women drinking for a bachelorette party. We closed the place down and they did not kick us out.

The food was excellent. I love getting a cup of Tom Yum and a sushi hand roll. I would absolutely go back.

The challenge is applicants need to stick out from the multitudes of resumes. Here are a few simple guidelines to get your foot in the door:

Damen Avenue Puppeteers is a wonderful treat for a young child's birthday party. Susan, the lead puppeteer, is absolutely wonderful with little kids. She brings out a hand puppet so the children can interact with it. It's something different instead of just having a bouncy house. This keeps the kids entertained for at least 45 mins.

I attended Optima Chicago Center's open house a few weeks ago, I have viewed their online floor plans and was surprised that the apartments were much more spacious and open then I had imagined. Streeterville is a great spot, the building is located in a cul de sac so you get some peace and quiet, but still one block away from Michigan Avenue. The indoor parking is really nice, but having a grocery store close is super handy. I really like the fitness center with basketball court and pool. The rooftop deck had a great view, we saw a rainbow, I felt like the club house could double as a night club. :)

I am SO glad we decided to go with Aztec Fence! We did a lot of research and did not make this decision lightly. Honestly, we almost didn't go with them because my husband was concerned that Aztec's quote was much lower than the rest of the bids and he thought it was a red flag, but I was very diligent and did a lot of extensive online research of all the fence companies in the area, online reviews from yelp, yahoo, Angie's list, websites and BBB. Aztec had some of the many good reviews. This extreme research was because I was afraid from all the horror stories I had read online and my neighbor's bad experience with a different company. Most other companies seem to have great sales, but terrible installation service, user contractors or day workers and issues with the fence. So we did not make our decision to go with Aztec lightly. Before we chose them and after all my research, I emailed them a whole bunch of questions just to make sure every aspect was covered, number of boards, nails, handling slopes, full time staff... and they were very responsive to every email. We even decided to upgrade from wood poles to steel poles, covered by wood facade when Aztec suggested it. It was a little more cost, but we highly recommend it, way better investment. (plus, still less than the other quotes we got.) I researched did some online research and many homeowners and contractors were recommending steel poles. Aztec supplied all the information we needed to get HOA approval and they were very patient. Took two weeks to get a response and J.U.L.I.E had to come back out again to spray, which Aztec handled scheduling. The second we got our permit, they were at our home 3 days later and installed the fence that same day. The inspector came out while they were working and told my husband that Aztec is a great choice. He never has problems with their work and if he got a fence he would call them and not look around for a different company. The inspector gave an unsolicited testimonial! that made my husband feel a whole lot better.

Twice I have had to make an appointment same day and then a Sunday. They were able to fit us in both times. I really like that they don't try to push unnecessary testing and the prices seem reasonable. They are also happy to let you know costs before they run tests and other things. Update: My beloved cat passed away. He got dramatically sicker the second they started treating. I can't blame them for his death, but the sympathy card the was print text about euthanizing him, when he passed away at home, was inaccurate and insensitive.

We switched to Village Vet and are happy with the decision. They have comfy couches in the exam room and it's decorated very cute. It's feel likes you are a coffee shop. They were very responsive to my emails and Dr. Marx was very attentive and detailed when examining our dog.

I love there food and miss it. My new office is not close by. They have my favorite Tomato Bisque soup of anywhere. The rustic bread is supper tasty and warm, it's also suppose to be just as healthy as whole grain. I prefer my sandwiches hot when I order. Now I am hungry :(
