Old School Marketing Tip: Hang up flyers, posters or business cards at community halls, gyms, grocery stores, libraries, coffee shops, community pools, or other local businesses with their permission of course.

Tip: Print out little stickers of your listings that fit on the back of your business cards. Give a stack to each of your sellers with their home on the sticker, on the back of your card. This is a great way to make sure the sellers pass out your cards – their house is on the other side!

Realtor Tip: Throw a house warming party for one of your recent buyers and invite all their friends. Split the costs with your affiliates (lender, closing agent, insurance agent, etc.). It is a great way to thank your clients and meet potential clients. Do a drawing to collect the names and contact information for everyone that attends to be able to continue to stay in touch with them.

Monday Marketing Tip: New businesses are always popping up around town. Support these new businesses by being part of the "welcome committee." Stop by that business before or on their grand opening and leave them treats for their staff and information about your services. See if they will let you leave a few of your marketing materials around their building. :)

Realtors? Do you have a follow up plan to stay in touch with your past clients? Here's a tip: You should be touching your past clients 24-36 times a year. A great way to do that is with a monthly postcard. Make sure that you mix fun postcards with ones that ask for business. Add value with your different marketing pieces. If you need help with implementing this strategy let us know and we can help!

Tip: Treat Your Customers Like Gold. It could be described as the golden rule of real estate: “treat your clients as you would like to be treated.” When you show the utmost respect, integrity, and kindness towards your clients, you will build up a reputation as the type of agent people love working with. If you treat them right, they could turn into the best salespeople any business could ask for.
