We hope you are all looking forward to the next Faculty of Podiatric Medicine Journal Club on Thursday 20th October 2016 (17:30 - 18:30).

Fellow of the Faculty Emma Cowley (Lecturer in Podiatry, Plymouth University) will lead discussions on the following paper:

Leibovici, L. (2001). Effects of remote, retroactive intercessory prayer on outcomes in patients with bloodstream infection: randomised controlled trial. BMJ : British Medical Journal, 323(7327), 1450–1451. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC61047/

Fellows, Members and Associates of the Faculty should email allan.thomson@rcpsg.ac.uk to arrange to join the discussion via video link (OR) to confirm attendance at the RCPSG for the journal club session which will be held in the Board Room at 19 Blytheswood Square.

To determine whether remote, retroactive intercessory prayer, said for a group of patients with a bloodstream infection, has an effect on outcomes. Double blind, parallel group, randomised controlled trial of a retroactive intervention. University hospital. ...

The college has a long history of excellence and innovation in medicine, and continues to develop its sound reputation world-wide.
