I blogged about a thing today!
I started riding into work a few days ago, and I have to confess, I don't know why I didn't start doing it sooner. It's not distance. My commute is just over 30 minutes each way. Nor is it the fact that I'm scared of the dark...

Beer the 2.

Great hop aroma. Bit of a bite, thanks to the variety of hops. Just had my first sip, and I can tell it's gonna be a regular.

Somehow I knew you'd comment on this about the state of my legs.

A yummy yummy!

Game of Thrones Fire and Blood Red Ale. Definitely not what I was expecting. Tastes slightly of a red, but with distinct Belgian undertones. Great drink!

An interesting potential development. I'd be a bit hesitant to buy into it at first, simply to see how it pans out (and also because Google services don't all mesh together as well as they should). But then again, it's all about presentation, and if it looks like it'll have staying power.

This is it! The next Mass Effect game!

I kid. Yeah, I know. April Fools was yesterday. But I found this today. Seriously, though, if you've ever play 2048, this is just a ME version of it. Surprisingly addicting.

Haha. I was asking Google Now about the distances to the moon and Mars. It came back with this for Mars. Snarky little sumbitch.

Found a cat hanging around my apartment complex. Freaking sweet and loving. I'm guessing she was recently adopted and either ran away or was let go.

If anyone lost a cat that looks like this one, let me know. Otherwise I'm gonna take her to the humane society tomorrow.

Having been there numerous times and tried several things on the menu (both beer and food), I can pretty confidently say that Stone invested a lot of time and care into this location. Upon stepping inside, you're struck immediately by all the use of actual stone, and a sort of raw urban look. It all combines to look very, very natural. If you go in the day and sit in the main dining hall, you'll also get to experience all the natural light that they let in. The outdoor areas are also really nice. Yes, areas. Plural. There's a smaller area out front, with several chairs and a bar, which make for a good people watching experience. In the middle they have a pair of bocci ball courts, which are surprisingly fun to play. Then in the back is their largest outdoor area, which features a small fountain and stream running through the middle. The largest area also features a full bar. Next, the food. Stone has always focused on sustainable food that's grown locally and in season. Additionally, they like to feature several styles of food. You can pick just about anything on the menu, and not go wrong. Though my personal favorites are the shepherds pie and the mushroom penne pasta. Finally, the beer. Stone, as usual, doesn't just feature there beer here, but beer from other breweries, both local and international, as well. You'll also see beers brewed from that location on tap, so you'll always have plenty to choose from.

This is a pretty good, fun little burger restaurant. Yes, it's the one that's referenced in Pulp Fiction. And yes, they do have a Big Kahuna Burger. And thrice yes, it is a tasty burger. Having also had the chicken rice bowl, I can also say that it's pretty solid, and very filling. Food is good, and the staff is friendly.

I've stopped into this location several times. All on the weekends for breakfast/brunch, and never had to make a reservation. Every time, I've been seated within a minute. Staff can be a bit on the slow side occasionally, but it's never unbearable. Maybe 2-3 minutes more than normal. Prices are pretty average. Just about what you'd expect from a breakfast place. Overall, I like this location, and will continue to go in the future.

This place offers a great vibe. If you're familiar with the area, this place fits right in. I've been there twice. The first time, a Saturday, we had to wait about 5 minutes for a place to sit. The second time was a Sunday, and there was plenty of seating available. Food came up quick both times, and was fantastic. Highly recommend the venison burger. Don't be put off by what they put onto the burger: the extra toppings really make the burgers! Only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star is the fact that their specialty burgers don't come with any fries. Then again, you're getting an unusual flavor for a pretty reasonable price, so I guess you can't have it all.

This place is a little hit and miss. My girlfriend and I went, and ordered dinner and an appetizer. We got the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, which were indeed fresh, and much like a salad. By themselves, they were OK. But the peanut sauce they come with is amazing, for sure. My girlfriend got the pad Thai burrito. And that was all that was in the burrito. Definitely not a fantastic fusion. I, however, had the chicken satay burrito, which was fantastic. Tons of flavor. The chicken and the Mexican rice in the burrito meshed really well together. The atmosphere was pretty good, too. A decent mix of rock n roll played on the TVs. All in all, it's not a bad place, but I don't know if I'd ever eat there again. If you go, though, chicken satay burrito, for sure!

Nice and friendly, mom and pop Chinese food. Everything is pretty good, and you get a lot of food.
