Don't be caught off guard! Come to the "READY Long Beach" Community Preparedness Expo which will feature information booths and demonstrations on topics such as:
• How to set aside minimum supplies of food, water and other basic survival tools recommended by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
• How and when to safely shut off gas and water lines
• How to build a family evacuation and response plan
• How to engage your neighbors in disaster planning
Emergency supplies will also be available for purchase.
The expo will also include a kid's fun zone, food for purchase and emergency response vehicles.
