Scotland has always been a place of beauty. From its dark and austere Lochs, its magnificent Glens and Moors. A coastline that varies from long sweeping beaches to cliffs and headlands of staggering proportions all of the above is part of the Caledonian experience. The North Coast 500 opens up some of these for those that want to experience the unparalleled beauty of Scotland north of Inverness. A costal route around the top of Scotland starting and finishing in Inverness which will show these parts of Scotland at their finest, yes we have Whisky and we have Tartan. We also have a whole lot more.

Putting a spin on a famous line from a certain Fishy Movie (Jaws) "We're going to need a bigger sideboard"
Ravenscourt House has added some new whiskies to our already straining sideboard. We've now hit in excess of 90 different Scottish Whiskies and Gins. So whether your taste is for the delicate and intriguing through to the robust and substantial we believe we have something to suite every whisky and gin lovers palate #RavenscourtGuestHouse #ScottishWhisky #ScottishGin

Just over a year here now and still exploring. Today's wee trip was up to Tomatin (past the distillery) along the River Findhorn then along the B851 to Farr. Finally on to Inverness and home. Amazing weather made the scenery all that more enjoyable especially at Loch Farr.
