I'm pretty late to the ReactJS party and my overall experience with client side frameworks is limited. I have 2 side projects in the pipeline where I need to make a decision with which one to go for. Angular seems nice but heard the steep learning curve is a downer. ReactJS is the cool kid at the moment but I'm yet to realise it's full potential or find a good tutorial that highlights what it can do or can't. Any suggestions?

It is a very common practice to have the first program written by somebody learning a programming language to be a "Hello World!" program.  Originating back in the book  “The C Programming Language”, this program's purpose is to display the text "Hello World!" (with varying styles of punctuation).

For those particularly new to writing apps for #iOS , let's go all the way back and write a "Hello World!" app in #Swift .  On the way we'll cover initial project setup, some aspects of the IDE like the inspectors, how to make outlets and actions from your Storyboard, as well as Auto Layout.

Font downloading can be a performance nightmare and the browsers handle rendering-during-download differently. Thankfully, a new CSS proposal gives you full control! Here's me telling +Paul Lewis about it.
