Best Buy
625 Atlantic Ave, Ste A7, Brooklyn, NY 11217-5208
I bought Best Buy phone insurance here because the best buy sale rep (whom didn’t wear a name tag; none of them do wear a name tag. I didn’t see a manager with a name tag on in the whole store) in the cell phone section at 625 Atlantic Ave, Suite A7 Brooklyn, NY 11217, Phone: 718-230-7480 GEO: 40.683450, -73.974170. He claimed the insurance would cover damage but not lost. All I had to do was bring the phone in for the exchange. The phone which is a galaxy s5 and the insurance was a gift to my kids Aunt for X-mas. Most phone companies charge you a monthly fee and you have to pay a deductible. The best buy insurance is the one she wanted because there was not deductible. I asked the cell phone rep and he confirmed that there was not deductible. Sounds great right? I signed up to pay 10 dollars a month for the next 23 months; they swipe your card for the first payment in the store. To this date I paid $110 into this insurance plan.
(Meanwhile in the evil version of our planet; another version of me is being killed by a Best Buy manager.)
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! She broke the phone took it to a Best Buy and they wanted her to pay a deductible of $150 dollars. My mouth dropped. Yes; usually charge a fee or deductible with phone companies; squaretrade and etc. However; I only bought the best buy insurance because the sell rep with no name tag claimed there was not deductible. I then decide to go to Best Buy on Union Square at 52 E 14th St ,#64 New York, NY 10003 Phone: 212-466-4789 Email: Michael.Suarez@BestBuy.comGEO: 40.7349109, -73.9905737. The geek squad member; still no name tag kindly went and got a person who claimed to be a Best Buy Manager. He said his name was Moe. I was not sure if he was a manager or even if he’s name was truly Moe. Moe AKA the guy I’m not sure was a manager told me to call 1-800-433-5778 and talked to Linda and then her manager who name was Zack. No; still not sure if the name were correct or if Zack was the manager. It was over the phone. It did take Zack over 30 minutes to come to the phone. He was “helping other customers.” Zack told me he could not refund the $110 dollars I already paid and he would cancel the plan; which means next month I will not have to pay $10.88. I told him think you and wrote this letter to consumer affairs. The Best Buy call Reference # is 1559103XX.
What kind of business let employees run around without name tags all the way to manager level?
What kind of business let or seems to me; let employee lie to customers about features of the insurance plan.

Yes; I should have read over the plan correctly. However; from what you read you can see what kind of experience you get when you deal with best buy. No name tags and poor phone/store customer service.

I'm always skeptic about burger joints. I mean you have the fast food places that don't sell what I consider to be "real food." Then there are places like shake shack or Five guys that just sell you price. However; Umami burger is not selling you just a price. It's a good burger. I had the manly burger. It was not manly in size. It's a regular size burger and while that might not Justify the jump of 4 dollars in price; the bacon they put on it might. It's a great restaurant with big selection of what I call fruit beer. They didn't have anything like a Brooklyn Lager or a Sam Adams. That affected how I felt about this place. Side note: they only sell soda that has real sugar in it.

It's a burger and a fries joint. You been to one you been to them all; right? Wrong! Two things makes a good burger joint: 1) The burger meat 2) the beer selection The burger meet is good. Better than that greasy shake shake burger. I've had better but it's a good burger. The beer selection needs works. OK; so maybe three things make a burger joint. I found the TV's to be in strange places. Will I go back? YES!!!!!

I don't know what was worst; the pie or the service. I placed an order on grubhub for 2 pies. The Delivery man Called me 3 times and I didn't notice; then he rang the bell. I buzzed him him but he rang again. I then asked; "who is it." He yelled and woke up my 1 year old daughter because that how loud he yelled. All I heard was; "you better come down if you want your pizza." I flew down the stairs because I didn't understand how a delivery man could be so rude. I got down there and he decided to tear into me verbal. I told him to go talk to his mother with that mouth. Later on I received a call from who I guess was the owner; claiming not to take sides. He asked me; "was there a problem coming down to get the food." I told him; yes but I didn't have a problem with it. I then told him how rude his delivery man was when I got my food. He didn't seem to care. I order food because of convenience not because I'm lazy. I sometimes have all three kids with me alone and it's just easy to order food. If I had to just worry bout myself I would just order food or go pick it up. I don't want to come downstairs to pick up my food. I can't really. That means I have to take 2 out of the 3 ( one is 10 years old) kids down with me. Carry one of them and the food? So no; I don't want to come down nor do I need someone calling me and asking me; "if I have a problem?" Notice I have not even talked about the pizza yet. It sucked. I go to a restaurant on Flatbush ave called C&J; they are rude but I got back. The food is just that good. Will I order from Bene again? No; bad service and bad food. I'm good!

It's just a great comic book store. However; the staff opinion on comics seem a bit facetious. Great store but the staff acts like indie comics are the best thing since the raspberry Pi 2. Relax guys it's just comics. I allowed to love X-Men. #haters Avoid the dude with the beard.

Worst food ever. My girl ordered the Rasta pasta dish AKA some pasta and 4 shrimp. I had a fish sandwich. It's the most basic thing you get a fish spot. They cut one fish in half and had to nerve to put that between 2 slices of bread. Usually you get 3 whiting fish stacked in between 2 slices of bread. They forgot half of my order. I had to call them back. The delivery Man was rude. He told me; next time I need to hurry up because he's busy. He didn't come up. I'm from Brooklyn; born and raised. This low standard for a fish spot might get over on a hipster that just arrived from the Midwest, however; not on this Nerd. Brooklyn is known for standing up, however; this fish spot need to sit down.
